Sophie
It's strange. Being surrounded by people and still be utterly and completely alone. I am not bitter or sad about it. That's what makes me so great. I don't wallow in self pity. I get up and move. Move to a different town or house or country. Wherever just trying to find home.
I am currently walking down and abandoned city sidewalk when I feel the stars shining down on me. I look up and smile at the beauty and serenity they offer me. Deciding a bed is overrated anyways I climb my apartment building to the roof top. Yes I used the fire escape I'm not spider man.
As soon as I reach the top I lay down on the hard cold concrete not paying it any mind really as I stare up and smile at the stars. They offer me a silent promise of adventure. My father always says follow the stars because they'll lead you to new discoveries. I guess you could say we're eccentric or travelers, or Gypsies. To tell the truth though... I wish for home. That's what I've been doing lately is trying to find it. And I will it's just taking longer than I expected.
I close my eyes as the peaceful promise of sleep calls to me. I dream of home. Wherever it may be.

My eyes shoot open in alert. I feel the ground around me noticing it's not the cold hard concrete. Nope it feels like warm sand. What the hell. I jolt up and realize something very fucking weird is going on. I'm sitting on the beach... I fell asleep on the rooftop of my building and now I'm on the beach. Sitting in the sand. In semi wet clothes and I'm just hoping it's from the receding tide that's at my ankles right now.
I sit there in bewilderment and just start laughing. If anyone could see me right now they'd put me in a mental hospital. As I come down from my laughing fit I get that feeling that I'm being watched. I look to the right and nothing but sand so I swing my head to the left and I kid you not I about piss myself right then an there. My mouth drops open on its own accord and I have to use my hand to close it.
Right in front of my eyes stands the single most sexiest man I have ever seen. I think I might actually be drooling a little bit. He's wearing black trousers and a white tunic that's open so you can see his delicious muscles and beautiful skin. He had dirty blonde hair that curled and had brown streaks through it. His face was sharp with a square jaw but you couldn't see his cheek bones. Bright green eyes were narrowed at me as he starts stomping his way towards me. Damn who pissed in his Cheerios. I look behind me to see if there's someone else he's reacting to because I'm just sitting here. Seeing no one else was on the beach except for us I swing my head back around to him but now he's squatted down to my height and is right in my face. His sudden closeness made me jump.
"Hello?" I say trying to break the uncomfortable silence.
He doesn't respond. just rakes his eyes all over me. I'm suddenly becoming aware of the state he's found me in. A black tank top with no bra and my favorite pair of blue shorts. To top off the look I was soaking wet so my clothes were clinging to me body. I'm not shy though so I let him check me out.
"Like the view. Eyes up here buddy"
I say after he's been ogling me for 20 minutes.
He huffs and stands up to his full height. So I do too. We end up being closer then I originally thought but he still towers over my 5'6 frame.
"Well your huge" I have this habit where I just say shit without thinking and this is a perfect example of me doing just that.
I swear I can see the corners of his perfect mouth twitch up but he quickly hides it.
"Who are you." My thighs clenched by themselves when I heard his voice. Talk about deep and soothing Jesus this man is literal perfection. It's almost annoying. Unfortunately this movement didn't go unnoticed by him.
"Sophie. Who are you."
"Follow me." He said gruffly and just started walking off.
I stand there and wait for him to realize I'm not following him. He stops about ten feet in front of me and turns around raising an eyebrow in question.
"I don't follow strangers" he rolls his eyes, turns back around and continues walking. I stand there and stare at his broad shoulders and his ass as he walks away. Hey it doesn't hurt to look. He stops again about 15 feet from me and turns around to look at me again. I place my hands on my hips.
"I'm pretty sure I said I don't follow strangers. Especially not into a jungle. I have watched way too much dateline episodes thank you very much."
He rolls his eyes and comes stomping back towards me until our chests are touching. He leans in until our noses are touching making my breath quicken.
"Peter"
"Oomf"
And then he grabs me and throws me over his big shoulder.
"Hey!! Stranger man!!" I shout at him as I slap his back and kick my legs. "It's not polite to man handle women!!"
"You're a girl not a woman." I gasp at his ignorance.
"Excuse me sir but I am almost 17 and I've been through puberty. I am full women and you should do well to remember that!" I yell at him
Then this big bulky "Peter" man does something that I least expected. After my little lecture he slaps my ass.
I gasp and swing my head around and stare at him in disbelief. A smirk is now plastered on his stupid beautiful face and it's pissing me off. So like the little spider monkey I am I maneuver my legs around his waste and push my self down of his shoulder. He doesn't even stop me his only response is to grab underneath my legs and boost me a little to where I was easier to carry. I had one arm around his neck and the other gripping the front of his shirt. I wasn't paying any attention to where he was taking me as I was too focused in telling this bastard off.
"1. Don't man handle me. 2. Don't man handle me. And 3. Keep your hands off my ass buddy." I narrow my eyes at him when I say the last part. I swear he's trying to hide a smile because his lips keep twitching up at the corners.
"And you said I was a girl. Men don't touch little girls that's gross and weird." I smiled triumphantly at my argument.
"You said you were a woman." He smirked at me as I frown. My argument suddenly becoming invalid since I did say that.
" how do you know where you are walking." I ask changing the subject.
"Hm?" He asks never taking his eyes off mine.
"Well Peter... your eyes haven't left mine we started walking. How can you see where you're going."
"You're observant. That's good" he praised me making me smile.
"I am many things."
He hummed "I bet."
"You're definitely not shy that's for sure" he chuckled. The sound was music to my lady parts making me unintentionally squeeze me legs around him. Which again did not go unnoticed by him. His stupid smirk just seemed to stay plastered to his face.
"And you're too cocky for your own good." I huffed annoyed. He chuckled and shook his head again at my behavior. We suddenly stop and my eyes leave his to check our surroundings and see that we're surrounded by at least four boys and one other girl who looks absolutely pissed. I looked past them to see a lagoon and tiny huts made of wood and flowers and leaves surrounding a massive tree with a door bolted to the trunk of it. I turn back around to meet peters gaze.
"You can let me down now"
He just stared at my face his hands never loosing their tight grip on my thighs. He narrowed his eyes on me and I followed his action and crossed my arms trying to look stern. We're having and intense staring battle and whoever breaks loses and it's not about to be me. An annoying cough breaks his trance first I laugh and pump my fist in the air in victory. He chuckled and shakes his head finally letting go of his grip. For dramatic effect and just to tease him I clasp my arms around his neck and slide down his body. When I reach the bottom of him I let go and turn around to the rest of the group with a big smile. I love making new friends.
