Sophie
It's been a week on the mysterious island I'm stranded on. Not that I mind, I happen to feel right at home. The boys have taken a liking towards me that seem to put mags off. I've been meaning to speak with her ever since our encounter in peters room but every time I get close to her she runs off.
Since then the lost boys built me my own hut which I gladly helped with. I felt like I'd need the skill of learning how to build during my time in never-land. I decorated my whole hut in flowers which seems to shine and sparkle when it's sunny or when it rains.
I've also been wanting to explore but the boys shy away when I ask them certain questions. As if they're too scared to answer. My bet? It's peters doing. I remind myself to speak to him later just as mags leaves her hut and start walking towards me.
"Come on." She huffs and stomps into the woods leaving me to trail after her.
She stops near a lagoon I don't recall seeing before and starts stripping.
"This is where we bathe so come on." She says stepping into the rippling waters.
I smile and nod taking off my clothes happy I'll finally get to speak with her after a week of trying.
"I've been trying to speak with you" I say as she starts washing her hair with some liquid substance she squeezed out of a large flower.
"And I've been trying to avoid you."
I raise my eyebrows at her admission. Of course I knew she was trying to keep me at a far distance from her for whatever reason.
"Why?" I ask while I wash my hair and body with the same substance she squeezed from the flower.
She lets out a humorless laugh "don't pretend you don't know"
"I don't know" I say sinking further into the water.
She rolls her eyes, "You're ruining everything. You never should have come here."
I hummed my response trying to see myself from her point of view.
"It was just me and Peter and the others. Then you show up and-"
"Take all the attention of you?" I smirk as I finish for her.
"Exactly. Peter and I have a relationship of sorts and you don't need to be involved." She said hotly.
"I completely agree." I smiled and stood up walking towards the small waterfall that was in the deep end of the lagoon.
My black hair was in knots from not being brushed. My reflection in the waters showed a different me. This girl had big blue eyes and wrinkles from laughing and smiling so much. She looked happier than she ever had.
"Good. You'll stay away from him then."
I chuckled at her, "hard to do when he's our fearless leader, our king of sorts yes?"
I swim towards the shore and stand from the waters mags is still bathing in.
"Why were you in his room that night!" She yells as I  walk around looking at our surroundings.
Touching the petals of the big colorful flowers with the tips of my fingers.
"I slept in his bed like he told me to." I answer simply.
"Yeah right like you two weren't doing anything! You should know while we were gone he was going to make love to me." She finishes and I turn back around to her and dress myself in a loose tunic and my blue shorts.
"He never slept in the same bed with me mags. He never even stayed in the room while I was there. Your hostility and anger towards me are unfounded as well as unnecessary." I finish putting my clothes on and start to leave but her voice stops me."
"Promise you'll never get involved with him." She demands in a seemingly steady voice but I picked up the desperation in it.
"I will not" and with that I left. Making my way back into my hut. I was tying the flowers to my walls when the devil himself let himself in.
"It's rude not to knock you know" I say quietly not being distracted from my task.
I feel his sharp green eyes burn into me.
"If you wish to say something then say it. I cannot read your mind." I say as a smirk makes it's way onto my face.
He steps closer leaving against the wall nearest to me.
"Where'd you go."
I laughed "I thought you knew everything?"
"I do."
I sigh, "then you know I was bathing with mags. Let's not pretend Peter. You're testing me." I finish and look at him to see his reaction to my words.
"I am?"
"Yes. To see if I'd lie"
"You always see through me." He frowns.
"It's not that hard to. Would you like to know what I see?"
He nods his head hesitantly.
"I see fear. I see loneliness despite being surrounded by the lost boys, mags, and I. You are terrified of being alone. So you seem control. It's why you know everything; you feel helpless if you don't."
I meet his angry eyes head on. He grabs me by my throat making me gasp and slams me on the wall of my new hut.
"You know nothing." He grits in a dangerously low voice.
I smile at him.
"I but I do, you're more obvious then you realize. You're lonely it's why you sneak around with mags despite not having any real feelings towards her."
"Shut up! You don't know anything! You don't know me! So don't fucking act like you do. You've been here a week." He spits in my face.
"That's the saddest part" I frown at him, "you've been screaming for them to see your pain. But they haven't. You despise the fact that I see your pain and despair because you didn't foresee me. You didn't bring me here. I am unplanned and it terrifies you." I finish as the grip he has on my throat tightens.
"Stop it!" He shouts as I take a breath to continue.
I see panic in his eyes that I'd Continue to read him like an open book so he smashes our lips together.
It took me by surprise. I don't know if it the island or him but something bewitched me enough to kiss him back. Soon he thrust his tongue into my mouth making me moan as he tangled his fingers into my hair. The other hand falling from my throat to grab onto my thigh.
I try to turn my face always from him but his hand grabs my face and forces me back to his hungry lips. I try again to pull always from his lips as I take in big gulps of air. His lips don't hesitate for a second before they're kissing down my through and to my exposed breasts in the large tunic I was wearing.
Coming back into my senses and realizing the boys could probably hear us I push him off of me. Our chests heave. His hair ruffled his eyes dark and hungry. I was becoming increasingly aware of why mags was so infatuated with him. He looked like a mind but his mind was that of a boy. It didn't make him any less handsome though.
"You should leave Peter" I mumble quietly.
He narrows his eyes and comes close; our noses touching, his eyes searching my face.
"You don't hide as well as you read Sophie."
And with that he leaves.
I slump down to the floor as my hormones are into over drive.
The heat must be getting to me. That's definitely it.
