TW Minor panic attack, also warning some minor spice-
---
A mere thirty minutes after the phone call with Sapnap, George received a message on discord that included an address and a date.
As George brought his phone closer to his face in hopes of seeing the small words better his heart dropped,
He was going to see Sapnap
In person
In a week
Just a week
Half of him was ready to jump into the cold water that lie ahead as victory swim, but the other half kept him plated on the sandy earth. Butterflies filled his stomach to a point where he thought he might be sick, his heart hammered in his ears, and he could practically feel how red he had gotten.
He had a week to get ready, but boy was he was never going to be truly prepared.
The car ride back to George's house was almost like a fever dream. His body was on autopilot whilst his brain was everywhere other than the road ahead of him. Soon enough Georges small flat came into view, a smile graced his lips. For once in what felt like years George knew he was going to get a good nights sleep.
And he was right, the moment his head hit the pillow he fell into one of the deepest sleeps he's had in a while now. Little did he know his dreams were going to be plagued by that,
One
Singular
Boy
"Come on Georgie! ill race you to the water" Sapnap yelled, he was already halfway down the beach by the time George had reached the beginning of the sand.
"That's no fair ! you had a head start!" George yelled, he was now sprinting down the beach, quickly gaining on the other brunette.
"I guess you'll just have to catch up!" Sapnap yelled back, he was now a mere few feet away from the water, but George was right on his tail.
"I already am!" George yelled in retaliation, he was in fact not lying, in the time that Sapnap had slowed down when he neared the water George had caught up. But George was still going full speed and couldn't stop, in seconds George had collided right in Sapnap.
As the two burst out into laughter they had fallen in a rather awkward position, George was positioned on top of Sapnap with his arms on either side of his head. The moment George had realized his breath hitched. Sapnap didn't seem to notice as he kept laughing, though soon enough Sapnap's laughter faded out until all that could be heard was the distant crash of waves.
The two boys stared at each other until Sapnap's eyes flickered down to George's lips , the boy on top of him practically beamed once he had realized what Sapnap was silently asking. Sapnap smiled in return before leaning in slowly, George Responded by eagerly Leaning in as well. before their lips connected George stopped, he waited to connect their lips, as if asking for consent. Sapnap's breath fanned over George's lips as he closed the small space between them every so slowly , the gap grew smaller and smaller until-
George Woke up with a start, he sat up abruptly, cold sweat ran down his back as he gripped at the thin fabric of his t-shirt. the more George calmed down the more he realized how crazy he seemed right now. he was just dreaming about his best friend that he's never even met in person, and they were going to kiss. he's not gay right? they're just close friends that's is, friends.
For some reason that hurt more then it probably should,
Just friends.
friends.
