It's the first day of kindergarten. You and Sidney stand together and are forced to take a picture. The two of you are inseperable. This pleases your parents.
Now youre in 8th grade. Being 14 is a lot more stressful then you thought. Sidney is debating whether or not to go away to SSM for high school. You had recently began catching feelings for him. You think he likes you too. Everyday you would walk into your neighbors house (theres no need to knock) and you are allowed up into his room and the door can be closed.(like youre actually doing anything)
"Talya, we need to talk" Sidney starts and you cant help but cringe. Based on all of your experience, these words never mean well. "I've decided to go away for school" You cant help but have tears fall from your face "But what about us, tackling Cole Harbour High together. Me being valedictorian and you being the captain of our hockey team, did you even think about that?"
You storm out of his house and Taylor stops you on the way. "Hey Talya, why are you so sad?" She turns her cute 6 year old head sideways as she says it. "Im just upset about some stuff Taylor, Ill be okay." She giggles and runs away. I didnt wanna spill the beans in case they havent told her yet.
I get home and my dad imediately notices something is up. I cant help but just start bawling once he asks. It was an ugly cry, like my world is falling apart.
