Continuation of Episode 4d: Mountain Village

Back at Mountain Village

Alvy stopped eating as he had a full belly and then realized. "Wait... why would you do that?!" Alvy spoke. "I looked inside the supply bag and saw they just gave us enough food to last a few weeks. Which I thought wasn't enough..." He said. "So When Overseer left... I looked for a bigger bag. Assuming they had a lot of stuff for the people with keycards... I snuck into the storage room and saw a HUGE backpack. And decided to start filling it with food." Max spoke. "How did you even get in?" Alvy asked. "No one was even there..." He explained. "Everyone was busy with saying their goodbyes to the heroes they hoped would save them. Almost everyone was on the top floor" He said. Alvy then gets another flashback years back about the E.S. saying goodbye as they leave the town for a while with Riolu. Max noticed this. "Alvy... Please eat" He said. "I almost got in big trouble for this," He said. Alvy just took deep breaths not wanting to start crying again but tears were showing. Max thought if he can get his mind off the sad flashback. He can stop crying. "Come on Alvy.. aren't these delicious?" He asked him. Eating one of the Pastrami rolls himself. "Lots of meat and cheese to eat this whole quest." He tried to smile. "What is this quest are you even talking about." Alvy asked. As Alex and Jack walked out. "We're having to get a water chip," He said. "Overseer sent us out with whatever this is" He held the rations they gave him. "And we have a few months to find it," He said. "But the problem was supplies. I helped us" he adds. "Let's get with the others Alvy. It will really help you emotionally. Let's help you make some new friends." He said. Taking his hand. "Actually" He opened his backpack again... "Can you stop crying if I gave you a roll of Brie Cheese and some meats?" He asked him. "I'll help you guys... and... I'm full." Alvy spoke. Max smiled. "Okay." he put them up. "I'll go give them some food," He said. Getting up and walking to Alex and Jack. "Hey guys... you must be starving," He said. "Not really." They both spoke. "Also, for the water chip, It says we should be here..." Alex spoke. "Well... You might not be starving. But you know how small those rations are... Could a little more not kill you?" He asked. "We're fine." Alex spoke as he started wandering around the place, after a few seconds he sees a water treatment plant. "There it is" Alex spoke walking to it. The others followed them into the water treatment. Max sighed. "Oh well then". Alvy walked inside and finds a Wartortle at his desk. "Oh hello, what do you need?" The Wartortle spoke. "Hey uh, do you know where a Water Chip is?" Alvy spoke. "I heard about those, but we don't use them here." the Wartortle replied. "Do you know a place where to get one?" Alvy spoke. The Wartortle got up from him being bored, "Why do you need one?" The Wartortle replied. "Look, Vault 91 is having a problem. Their water chip is broken and they need a new one. In the next..." Alvy paused and turned to Jack. "How much time before the Vault runs out of water?" "We have like One-hundred Seventy-Seven days." Jack replied. Alvy turned back to the Wartortle "Less than six months". "There's actually a place I heard that has Water chips... however, It's close to The Glow... You would die before you would even go inside of it" The Wartortle spoke. "Where do we get Radiation suits?" Alvy asked. "I don't know but ask Victoria's sister, she might know" The Wartortle replied. "What does she look like?" Alvy asked. "I don't think It's kind of her sister or something since she wasn't born from the same parent- ok look, she looks like a Blaziken" The Wartortle replied. "Right, I know what a Blaziken looks like." Alvy spoke. Max decided why not be kind. As he already did something bad. "Are you hungry?" He asked the Wartortle at the desk. "I just ate not too long ago," he replied. "Can you at least keep this Pastrami roll as a snack for later?" Max asked. As he put it, one on the desk. "Okay." The Wartortle grabbed it and then read it, "From Vault 91... You got this from Vault 91?" He asked. Max sighed. "Yes." he answered. "Oh ok." The Wartortle spoke as he put the food down, "Also, I'm Tim if you are wondering what my name is." he adds. "Nice to meet you... I'm Max" He said as Alvy walked outside and looked for the Blaziken. Max figured why not he should go with him. Walking out after. Following Alex from a distance as he had a backpack filled with a LOT of food.

After a while Alvy finds stairs leading down, "I guess It's this way." Alvy spoke. "Cool," Max followed. "Sorry to ask... Who's 'Victoria'" He asked Alvy. "I don't know" Alvy replied, as he walked to the door. Max nods. As he stood behind said door. "It sounds like a.... The royal name" He said. "We should probably be kind and knock," He adds. As he knocked on the door. Nothing happened. Alvy just opened the door which was unlocked, The room is pitch black."Hello?" Alvy called out, walking in. Max followed. Max took this time to put the backpack down as it got heavy to carry. After a few seconds, the lights turned on which was on fire. "Yeah? What do you need?" The Blaziken spoke. "We need help getting into The Glow without dying. Or Radiation suits" Max said. "I will show you where it is if you test your skills if you can survive the Wet Wasteland" The Blaziken Spoke has kicked the radio which just started playing the Middle Boss theme. "Wait for what-" He said as the door behind them slammed shut... "Don't worry, It's just a test to see how strong you are. But you there" As Blaziken spoke pointing at Max "You can just not do it since you're a bit too young to fight." Max sighed in relief. "Thank god," He said. "Anyways, yeah... who wants to go first?" Blaziken asked, turning the radio off. "I will..." Alvy spoke walking forward. Max simply stood there. Behind Alvy. "If you need anything... Just yell 'Gimme the meat'" Max simply said. Alvy just cringed a bit like wtf? "Or not... It sounded normal in my head" Max adds. "Why would I say that?" Alvy asked. "I dunno... It would be a corny catchphrase for me to help." Max replied. The Blaziken yelled, "Let's start!". Alvy then immediately uses vine whip on it, which did nothing to it. "H-how... Strong are you?" Alvy spoke. "Well I trained a lot so yeah." Blaziken replied as he then flame blasts on Alvy knocking him back. Alvy screamed a bit after getting knocked back to the wall. Max cringed at the sight of him getting a flame blast. Alex and Jack saw that almost getting worried now. Alvy then gets up, "Well I'm gonna-" Alvy then realized that Steel won't work on the fire, but it does do a lot of damage. Max had an Idea. "Just start crying! Fire is weak to water" He simply said. No one was sure if he was joking, or deadly serious. Alvy looked at Max "Why would I do-" he then gets pounded hard by him. "YOU FUCKING DISTRACTED ME- AGH!" Alvy screamed. Max cringed. Just throwing a roll of brie cheese into the arena "Stop yelling at me!" he cried. Alvy and the Blaziken just looked at that. Alvy then uses his strength to get him off, and then Alvy charges his iron tail move and the Blaziken then charges his metal claw. "HAAA!" They both charged at each other, hitting each other badly. The Blaziken then fell to the ground same as Alvy. "Wow... He did it," Max said. Finally taking a peek from his large backpack. Walking into the arena. Alex got up and looked at both of them seeing that they both fainted. "It's a tie." Alex spoke. "No. He won.." Max simply said. Walking to Alvy. "Alex. Come get him.. I have my own stuff to carry back up those stairs" He adds. As he tried to pull his backpack back upstairs. The Blaziken then gets up, "What happened?". "No-" Maxs arms gave out and the large backpack he tried to drag upstairs fell all the way down. Nothing was ruined. But it's gonna be more exhausting to take upstairs. "Damn it!" he cried. The Blaziken then helped get the backpack up the stairs which was easy for him, Alex picked up Alvy and to the clinic just making sure he's alright. Max looked up at the Blaziken... "He won," Max said. "You said you knew where the Biohazard suits were" He adds. "I mean it was kinda more of a tie" Alex spoke. "You're not helping Alex..." He muttered. "Can you just tell us where they are. And we'll be on our way" He said again. "You might wanna make it quick. The Overseer might be sending people this way as we speak. And I don't want to die" He adds. Sounding a little scared. The Blaziken then muttered, "Why are Vault 91 after them". He then told them "Vault 68, It's beyond the mountains West. Also I'm Ava" "Thanks Ma'am... You're the best," he said. Putting his backpack on. "We are gonna rest for a little bit. And then probably head out. " He said.

Alex took Alvy to a clinic and talked to the person there. Chansey scanned Alvy as she signed. Rather relieved. "He's fine, he just got knocked out." She spoke. As Alex sighed in relief "Good thing he's not in major damage." he spoke to himself. Alvy then woke up a few minutes later in a medical bed. "Where am I?" Alvy asked. "In a clinic, you got knocked out in that battle," Alex replied. "Yeah... I know that." Alvy spoke. Alvy walked outside and looked for Jack and Max. "Do you know where they are?" Alvy asked. "They're outside of the village," Alex replied. "Oh," Alvy spoke as he walked outside seeing Jake and Max. "Hey again," Max said. "We're gonna rest for a little bit. Then head out west... The Blaze said that's where the Biohazard suits were" he adds "oh ok." Alvy spoke. "We only have two bikes though..." Jack spoke. "I'll sit behind Totodile," Alvy spoke. "I'm Jack, don't you remember my name?" Jack spoke. "No..." he sighed. As Alvy sat behind Jack, Alex got the front seat and Max sat in the basket, And then they went West.
