NEVER IN HER LIFE did Hazel fancy Sirius. She couldn't even get the thought of him being like a brother out of her head— but that didn't mean she wouldn't use this new information to her, and Remus' enjoyment.

Who would she be to not use this against him?

The plan was already in action when Hazel went to breakfast the next morning. She passed her usual spot, and instead placed herself between Peter and Sirius— who both looked at her wide eyed, then to James.

Hazel looked at each of them, a smugness playing at her lips. "What?" She asked, taking a bite of her pancakes. Neither of the boys said a word; simply shrugged their shoulders and continued on with their meals. But what Hazel didn't miss was the eye roll Remus sent her way.

After breakfast, the five of them made their way back up to the boys dorm— where Hazel quickly took her spot of Sirius' bed. Ignoring the groan that came from the boy. And instead made herself more comfortable than she usually would.

"Oh come on dog boy, you know you've always wanted to get me in bed." She teased, drawing circles on the crimson sheets— before Sirius jumped in beside her, "You couldn't be more right fox girl." He joked back, pinning her to the bed playfully.

Hazel had expected an awkward laugh; a neck rub. Anything, but she did not expect Sirius to act so cooly with the false assumptions James and Peter had made.

"Oi! No shagging Hazel!" James called, throwing himself between the two of them. And the other two quickly followed, until there was a pile— all on top of Hazel.

Letting out a choking laugh, Hazel tried to push them off, "You're all to heavy!" She heaved, earning a few dramatic sighs from the boys, and a wicked grin from Remus— who still remained on top of her.

Hazel's face reddened at their proximity, "we have got to stop ending up in this position." She mumbled, pushing him off and sprawling back out on Sirius' bed beside him.

His head turned to meet her eyes, "Maybe we shouldn't." He mumbled, admiring her profile— the freckles sprinkled along the bridge of her nose; and the way her eyes scrunched up when she smiled.

The truth was, although Remus hated being so flustered; and he hated himself for fancying the only girl he knew he could have. All he wanted was for her to be close to him, to feel her heat radiate and mix with his own.

He wanted her so bad, and yet, he couldn't show it.

"That's enough, out of my bed!" Sirius scolded, standing at the edge of his bed; his hands placed firmly on his lips. Remus, who pulled himself from his fantasies. And Hazel, who wandered from her own intrusive thoughts— both looked up at him with playful glares.
