Ava then put her phone back in her pocket, and walked back to the register waiting for the next costumer.
While waiting she started to think about what she was going to eat tonight. Snapping her out of her thoughts her phone then vibrated in her pocket. She pulls out her phone to see a message from an unknown number.
As she was about to open the text a group of guys then walks in. She puts her phone back in her pocket and puts her focus on the group of customers.
"Welcome to Aroma Mocha Cafe, what would you like to order?" Ava said while putting a smile on her face.
"I would like 3 blueberry muffins and one chocolate chip muffin. With a Iced Coffee." said the black haired man.
"Will that be all?" Ava asked while adding up their sum on the cash register. "Yes." The dark haired man said. "Name for the order please." Ava said while pulling out her note pad and pen. "Dylan." He answered back while smiling.
"Ok Dylan I'll let you know when your order gets done." She said while taking the paper with the orders and the customers name on them to the back.
Dylan Pov:
As me and my group of friends sat at a table we all started talking bout stuff. "Hey Jay did you get a response from the text." I asked concernedly.
"No , it says delivered." Jay replied with a sigh. "Maybe she's busy." I said trying to cheer him up.
Jay wasn't really the type to talk to talk to girls nor to really come out of the house. But somehow last weekend we got him out to go to a party where a girl gave him her number, and said she'll text him but never did.
"Order for Dylan." The cashier called my name. We all stood up pushed up our chairs and headed towards the register.
End Dylan's Pov:
"That'll be $10.13." Ava said while putting the muffins in a brown bag. Dylan then handed her the money and picked up his coffee and the bag of muffins. "Have a nice day." He said while smiling at Ava. "You too." She said smiling back.
Time Skip
Ava pov:
I had just gotten home from a a long tiring day at work. "My feet hurt." I mumbled to myself. "Mia?" I called out to see if she had gotten back before me. No answer. Well I guess not. As I then bent down to greet Snuggles our puppy. "Hi girl." I said while petting her.
I then stood up and walked towards the stairs. Once in my room I went to my dresser and picked out some night clothes. A oversized shirt and some shorts with some underwear. I them grabbed my phone and put it on the charger and headed towards the bathroom to take a shower.
I then turned on the water and waited for it to heat up, while I put my hair in my bonnet. I then started to undress. Once stepping in the shower, my body then relaxed from the hot water hitting my skin. I grabbed my loofah putting some of my favorite body wash on it and started to clean myself all over. After I was done, I then washed myself off, turned off the water opened the shower door and stepped out grabbed my towel and started to dry myself off.
I then put on my clothes and start to do my facial routine. Once that was done I put my dirty clothes in the bin and walk downstairs to the kitchen.
While walking towards the stairs I heard the shower from Mia's room start letting me know that she was home. I then go in her room walking towards the bathroom door knocking on it, "Mia?" I said while knocking on the door. The door then cracked open and Mia sticks her head out. "Yes?" She said while smiling. "Do you want me to cook or order something?" I asked the smiling girl. "Order something you look tired." She said. "Well what to order?" I asked. "Ummm Chinese food." She answered. "Ok I'll order it once you get out." I said while yawning. "Ok." She said while closing the door.
I walked out her room closing her door back, and walked to the kitchen to get me a water bottle and to feed snuggles. Which it then hit me that I never opened the text that I had received from the random number earlier.
After placing Snuggles food bowl down I then dashed up the stairs to get my phone. I unlocked it, then clicked on my messages, unsure if I should open it or not. Which I did. The text read "Hey it's me from the party remember." What party? I thought to myself. I remember Mia saying something about a party last week but I didn't go since I wasn't feeling good. "Mia?" I yelled. "Yes." She said while sitting on my bed. "Did you go the party last weekend?" I asked still looking at my phone. "No dummy I was here taking care of you." She answered while laying down.
"Oh ok." I said. "Why did you ask?" Mia asked me. "I got a text from a random number saying hey it's me from the party remember." I told her. "Oh well I don't know who that is." She said while pulling out her phone. "Can you order the food?" I asked while typing. "Sure, what do the want." She said while looking at me. "The usual." I answered.
She then walks out to go order the food.
