Ava's Pov:
As I woke up to the to Mia harshly shaking me. "Wake up bitch your late for work." She said still shaking me. "What?" I said not understanding since I just woke up.
"YOU ARE LATE FOR WORK!" She yelled. I looked over at my clock on my nightstand. "Shit." I mumbled. I then jumped up, and headed towards the bathroom to freshen up.
"CALL MY MANGER AND TELL HER I'LL BE LATE!" I yelled to Mia while struggling to put on my black ripped jeans. "I already did, and stop yelling." She said back to me while leaving out my room.
"Shit." I mumbled to myself again trying to pull my pants above my thighs. After finally pulling up my pants I then put on my black bra. Brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put on my facial cream for my acne.
I took off my bonnet, and took out the two puffs from yesterday. I then grabbed my pink spray bottle and dampened my hair with the water. After that I grabbed my comb, reparted my hair, grabbed my Gel and brush and pulled my hair into a puff.
Once done put on my white shirt, socks and Vans. After that I headed down stairs grabbed my personal book-bag from off the couch, and my keys from off the key holder and headed towards my car.
At Work:
"Your 2 hours late." My cafe manger Eve said for the fifth time today. "I overslept." I said to her again. "Don't let it happen again." Eve said while walking back towards her office. "Ooo you in trouble." My co-worker Elijah said. "Shut up." I said to him while fixing a customers drink.
"You think she gone let me off early?" Elijah whispered while looking in my direction. "Probably not." I answered back to him. "Here you go." I said while handing the red headed lady her drink. "Your total will be $2.15." I told the woman. After she payed Elijah then said, "Why not? Since you came late you can take the rest of my shift." He said while grinning.
"That's not how it work." I told him. "I took your shift all last week since you was so busy." I said while taking a glance at him. "I was busy." He answered back sassily. "Mhmm ok." I said while giving him the side eye.
"Elijah and Ava, Eve wants to see you to in the back." Cameron said. "Coming." I said. Once we got to the back of the cafe Eve then told us, "There is an emergency, so can you and Elijah lock up today." She said while grabbing her stuff.
"Yeah." We both said. "Thank You." She said and walked out the door. We stood at the door and watched her drive off. "Fucking ugly ass bitch." Elijah said which made me laugh.
Time Skip (End of the Day):
"Ok Cameron you can leave now." I told him. "You sure?" He said while taking off his apron. "Yea, didn't you open?" I asked him. "Yeah, and there's a customer in the front." He said while grabbing his keys and jacket. "Ok." I said while walking towards the front counter. "Have a good night." I said. "Same to you." Cameron said while walking out the back door.
"Can you make sure everything's straight while I handle the last customer." I stopped and asked Elijah. "Yes sir." Elijah said playfully. "Shut up." I said while hitting him.
"How may help you?" I asked the black haired male with glasses. "Do you guys sell smoothies?" He asked while running his hand through his hair. "Yes we do." I said while showing him a paper with different types of smoothies.
"I want this one." He said pointing at the purple one.
"Luckly we have one already made." I said while smiling. I walked towards the mini fridge that we kept in at the front of the cafe. Grabbed the purple colored smoothie, and handed it to him. "That'll be $2.06." I said to him. He pulled out a five dollar bill. "That's all I got." He said while grabbing a straw.
