*Your POV*
Donald following the black cloud into this new world. The ship was surrounded in a ball of fire a little after you entered the atmosphere, causing you to close your eyes against the brightness for a few minutes. When you were finally able to open your eyes again, you blinked them open and gasped at the beautiful scenery below you.
It wasn't quite enough to be able to tell which world you were in yet, but that didn't matter. The view was breathtaking--what seemed like miles and miles of cityscape was splayed out before you, glimmering brilliantly in the night. There were trains, subways that ran through the air, and skyscrapers as far as the eye could see, towering above the city What seemed like a million individual colors could be detected among the lights, making the whole city shine with their glow. It didn't quite seem possible, but yet here it was, right in front of you.
"Wow," you whispered under your breath. "Incredible."
As Donald steered the ship, more of the city came into view. And beyond that, you could see hundreds of bright, orange-golden bridges crossing over an empty abyss with people crossing over them. You gasped once again as you recognized the scenery.
"Oh, I know where we are!" you exclaimed.
"Is there any good spot to land where we won't be seen?" Donald asked, practically dismissing your inquiries.
"Uhhh. . .I'm not sure. . . ." you replied. "It's going to be pretty busy this time of year."
"How about over there?" Goofy said, pointing to a spot under a bridge where there were no people around right now to spot you landing.
Donald agreed and headed over there as discreetly as possible, landing just under the orange flower petals to hide the ship from sight.
"So. . .where exactly are we?" Sora asked as he unbuckled his seat.
You smiled as you said, "Coco!"
"What's that?" Donald asked.
"Not what, who--that's the name of the great-grandmother in the movie."
"What's a movie?" Sora asked.
"Uhh, it's. . ." you responded, not knowing how to explain it. "Ummm. . .I'll show you another time. Come on, we should probably get going."
Everyone left the ship, crept around the gateway between the bridge and the station, and snuck into one of the buildings through a side entrance, making sure to stay out of sight so as not to look suspicious.
"Okay, so where exactly did that black cloud go, do you think?" Sora asked, looking around.
"I think I saw it go somewhere into the city," Goofy whispered.
"That shouldn't be difficult to find, then," you mumbled under your breath sarcastically.
"So, should we get going then?" Sora asked.
"Umm. . ." you said, turning to Sora, Donald and Goofy. "About that. . ."
"Oh boy. . ." Donald mumbled.
"Sooo. . .this area of the world is called The Land of the Dead."
"Why's it called that? Isn't it a little morbid?"
"It's not really supposed to be morbid, it's just the truth. The people who live here aren't exactly. . .people," you said, trying to choose the best way to explain this. However, you knew there really was no good explanation. "They're. . .well, they're dead. They're skeletons."
"Sk-skeletons?!" Goofy exclaimed.
"Don't worry, they're not scary. But me and Sora are gonna have to keep a low profile. You and Donald should be fine, since everyone might just think you're alebrijes."
