Chapter 12

"But how did I get here Koo? I'm sure we were at our home"Taehyung's eyes were misty, eyes scanning the room.

"It's allright, It's allright. You injured your head that's why it's paining"Jungkook said hugging Tae and kissing his forehead.

Or more like I failed to protect you, It was just a pole why you had to pull me that hard duffer Jungkook thought to himself as he leaned in more and pecked Taehyung's cheek.

Doctor came in with a notepad along with Jimin.
Soobin came back and stood beside Jimin quietly.

"How are you feeling Mr. Taehyung" Doctor asked.
"Dizzy, and my head it's aching badly"Taehyung replied.
"Look around, can you see clearly?"doctor asked Taehyung nodded and looked around. His vision was normal.

"Nausea or vomiting?"doctor asked

"No"Taehyung replied.

Doctor asked Taehyung some basic questions like his age , some questions about his family . Then doctor asked Taehyung to identify the three in the room, he answered them all correctly.

"So what's the last thing you remember?"Doctor asked.

"Last thing, I was at home with Jungkook. We watched avengers and then we slept. Then I woke up here"Taehyung was trying his best to stay strong, to hold his tears inside.

"That was this saturday"Jungkook looked at the doctor. Neither Jungkook nor doctor spill a word afterwords to tell it was thursday because they didn't wanted Taehyung to freak out more.

There was a silence of few seconds in the room as Taehyung laid down and doctor was writing something his notepad.

Taehyung looked at the ceiling and sat on his bed again.

His hands trailed to the back of his head to look for a potential injury.

"How did I get here? why my head is aching?" Taehyung asked.

"I told you right? you injured your head that's why." Jungkook placed his hand on Taehyung's back and started caressing it.

"You told me? when? I don't remember a thing. Did I hurt my nerves? Is there a blood clot in my head? god what's happening?"Taehyung was scanning the whole room again to figure out where he was.

"It's okay. You're okay. There's no serious injury Tae. You'll be fine"Jungkook smiled but Taehyung saw it, the fear in Jungkook's eyes.

Jimin sat beside Taehyung and hugged  him from one hand "He's right Tae all of your reports came normal"Jimin held Taehyung's hand and started caressing it.

"I think it's better if you just lay down Taehyung. Your head, it must be getting heavier" said Soobin. Taehyung nodded because his head was feeling heavier than ever.

"Do you remember what questions I asked you just now?" Doctor asked.
"No"Taehyung said in a broken voice.

"Calm down Mr. Taehyung and rest. There's nothing to worry about. I hope you will trust my words right"Doctor said politely.

Taehyung nodded and laid down. Thousands of questions were running in his mind. Soobin sat in a stool beside Taehyung's bed while Jungkook followed doctor to his cabin.

"What's your name?"

"It's Jungkook"

"Mr. Jungkook. It's normal to loose memory of a short span of time after a head injury. All of his reports are just fine so don't worry too much"said the doctor.

"Don't worry? You were there when he didn't remembered what happened a minute ago. How am I not supposed to worry? How can you say it's normal?"Jungkook said while running his fingers in his hairs.
