I was on my way back to my dorm. I wasn't going to see Faye today because she had too much homework to get done. I opened my dorm door and when I opened it I saw Faye inside.
"Happy birthday daddy!" She squealed.
"Little one you didn't have to do this."
"Yes I did! You made my birthday so amazing I wanted to return the favor."
She handed me a box and I looked down at it curiously. "Open it daddy!"
I slowly opened it and when I saw what was inside I felt a smile tugging at my lips. Inside of the box was a snake.

"Little one this is amazing." I gave her a hug and a kiss on top of her head.
"I know she is very pretty. What are you going to name her?"
"Belinda." I answered after 5 minutes of thinking.
"Belinda, doesn't that translate to snake?"
"Yes it does little one."
"That's pretty I like it."
I noticed Faye had also gotten Belinda a cage like thing so I set her in there. I picked up Faye and set her on top of my lap after sitting down on my bed.
"It's late little one, you should get to sleep."
She nodded before nuzzling her face into my neck and falling asleep. After about 30 minutes I was able to fall asleep myself.
