Tom's pov

I was currently with Faye. We were on the way to the great hall to go eat. Once we entered I noticed everyone looking at Faye strangly or I heard people say bad things about her. I now see why she is shy and doesn't like or trust people.

I looked over at her and saw tears forming in her eyes and she looked down in embarrassment. I took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. But she seemed far too ashamed and it broke m heart.

She let go of my hand and ran out of the great hall. I ran after her. "Faye wait!" She ran to her dorm and slammed the door behind her. Luckily I was close behind her so I could get into her common room but not to her dorm before she shut the door.

I knocked on the door. "Faye, little one, I need you to open the door for me." "No! Daddy don't like me anymore!" My eyes widened at the name but I quickly brushed it off. "That's not true! Now little one open the door for daddy, please."

I heard shuffling and then she opened the door. I immediately scooped her up in my arms. She wrapped her arms around my neck and leaned her head on my shoulder. I sat on her bed and we cuddled for awhile.

"Little one." She looked up at me with a small smile. "Daddy doesn't care what other people think of you he still wants you." "Ok daddy, I want you too!" I smiled at her she then buried her head in my chest then fell asleep.
