"Silver bells, silver bells, ring a ling, ring a ling, hear them sing, hear them sing, soon it will be Christmas Day."
George had heard the classic song float through the kitchen while him and his mother rushed to prepare gingerbread cookies for his classes Christmas party the next day."Oh Georgie, will you help me pick out some accent flowers for your teachers flower bouquet?"
"Sure Mum."
George was ecstatic, he loved Christmas time and he knew the perfect flowers for his teachers bouquet.
'George.'
Oh no.
'Wha- What do you want.' George had stammered at the invisible voice invading his mind.
'Where are you?'
'Um, in my kitchen making cookies with my Mum.'
'Look again Georgie' the nickname coming off of his tongue like venom.
Suddenly George felt the walls closing in on him and that ominous darkness shrouded his mind.
And then out of no where he was back.
In a dark room with white walls, a black desk in the corner, and on a queen size bed with a nice warm comforter.
Where was he?
Then it all came rushing back.
Dream.
He was at dreams house.
That couldn't be real.
Like lighting George hopped out of bed and rushed down the hall to a door that was open just a crack.
In the room a lamp on a grey nightstand was illuminating a handsome man's face. And the handsome man was reading something, a orange and teal book.
Suddenly Dream reignited George.
"Oh George what are you doing up at this hour?"
"Oh um I woke up, I had another nightmare."
"George that's the second one tonight and the eighth in the past week."
It was heartwarming that Dream demented had counted every time george had a nightmare, kind of creepy, but very heartwarming none the less.
" I know."
"What are you reading?" The Brit asked in an effort to continue the conversation.
"Oh Lily and Dunkin, it's this really nice book about a girl who moves to Florida and is transgender and meets a boy and they become good friends."
"Oh mind if I read it with you?"
George's mother used to let him sit and read her novels with him when he was a child so he would fall asleep.
"Um sure George hop in, you might need to move patches though."
