1 | The Family

It was a rather warm day over the city, Blue was waking up as the sun was coming in through the curtains and she yawned. She got out of bed and looked at herself in the mirror and ran off into the bathroom. Her husband Q had gone to work earlier that day and she was getting ready to take all her four children to school or daycare. As she was in her bathroom, down the hallway. Gabe was in his bedroom still sound asleep. It was 7am and school started at 8:30.

Gabe was a freshman in high school, he loved singing and acting so much it was like something he always wanted to do. Nothing more could be perfect in life than yea his annoying brothers. Amir and Xio were always doing something which slightly annoyed Gabe. His sister not as much, but when Gabe tried listening to music his brothers would always annoy him by making a scene or playing too loudly.

Gabe was still in bed, when suddenly he was awakened by a loud bang in the hallway. Blue ran out of her room scared.

"What the hell was that??" she asked

"IT WAS HIM," pointed Amir and Xio at each other.

Xio and Amir continued chasing each other in the hallway and Corey was laying on the bookshelf watching. Blue went to Cheyenne's room to get her ready for daycare and instructed everyone else to get ready. Downstairs at the dining table, the family was having breakfast. Gabe was eating calmly but Amir and Xio kept pushing up on eachother.

"Boys stop," said Blue.

Blue continued eating and was on her phone, Gabe rolled his eyes and continued eating when suddenly there was a knock on the door. Blue got up and opened the door, it was her sister Valerie.

"Good morning sister," said Valerie in a cheery tone.

"Good morning," said Blue not so enthusiastically.

"So look WHAT I BROUGHT," said Valerie.

Valerie walked in with loads of bags and Amir, Xio and Cheynne quickly ran from the table to go see. Valerie smiled as they grabbed their bags.

"Leave those for later take them to your rooms." said Blue

"Awww," they all said.

They all ran upstairs with their bags and Gabe continued eating at the table and Valerie looked at him.

"Why is he so weird??" asked Valerie in a low tone

Blue grabbed her hand and pushed her back into the hallway part of the entrance of the house.

"Weird?? He's eating." said Blue

"He just seems off, Blue you need to stop being so hard on your kids. They aren't going to grow well like this if you keep going." said Valerie in a tone

"My children are fine Valerie, I've asked you to always stop spoiling each time you go on vacation because it's not raising them well." replied Blue.

"When was the last time you and Q went on vacation??" asked Valerie

"Q is busy, he has a very important job at the hospital." answered Blue annoyed

"If you say so," laughed Valerie.

She walked out the door and Blue stared at her annoyed and shut the door. She looked at her watch and saw the time and yelled out to her children it was time to go. They all grabbed their backpacks and ran out the door, at the boutique. Blue opened up the shop and went to her design room to start working on a new dress. She took out her fabrics and her sketchbook and began to draw out a new design.

Meanwhile at daycare, Cheyenne was playing with blocks minding her own business. When suddenly a kid snatched a block out her hand and Cheyenne gasped. Cheyenne looked at him and then stared at him and suddenly. She grabbed the block and whacked him in the head. The kid let out a scream and everyone in the classroom turned around.

Down the hallway, in the head teacher's office Cheyenne was in the chair.

"I didn't mean to be honest, it just slipped," pleaded Cheyenne.

"I'm calling home," said the head teacher.

Cheyenne's whole world collapsed when suddenly she decided to be smart about it.

"Call my dad, he's usually not busy," said Cheyenne.

She knew more than likely her dad wouldn't pick up. At the hospital Q was in the breakroom, he had just finished a procedure he was an anesthesiologist. As he was looking at his phone he noticed the daycare was calling, he accepted the call. Cheyenne then heard her dad's voice and DIED.

"Hello?" asked Q

"Hello Mr. Rivers, we're calling regarding Cheyenne's behavior today." began the head teacher

Q was in the breakroom and rolled his eyes at the boutique. Blue was working on a dress when she received a text from Q and saw that Cheyenne had gotten kicked out of daycare. Blue quickly left to pick her up, at the daycare Cheyenne was waiting outside and Blue pulled up and looked at Cheyenne.

"I swear mommy it wasn't me." said Cheyenne

"Cheyenne this isn't the first daycare you've gotten kicked out of. You're grounded when we get home and no tv." said Blue

Cheyenne burst out crying at the house, she ran in and ran to her room and Blue sat on the couch annoyed now she had to look for a new daycare that would accept Cheyenne. When suddenly her phone got a notification and she looked down at it. It was from Valerie, her sister Moni was coming back from Europe and Blue quickly sunk into it. She couldn't believe Moni was moving back to the city, why the hell would she come back.

Later that night in their bedroom, Blue was getting ready for bed and was telling Q about everything that had happened today.

"Q, I don't know what to do about Cheyenne this is the third daycare that kicks her out." said Blue

"I'm not sure either, i'm sure you'll find something soon." said Q

"No Q, talk to her for real. Do something, you're her father." replied Blue

"But sweetheart you're her mother and that matters more." answered Q

Blue fixed her pillow and then laid in bed and looked at Q.

"No for real Q, I mean it talk to her tell her something I know you work hard. She needs you to check her behavior also." said Blue

"Alright i'll talk to her," said Q.

Then Blue remembered to bring it up.

"You won't believe who's coming back," said Blue annoyed.

"Who??" asked Q

"Moni," answered Blue.

Q froze and then looked down, and then looked at her.

"Well she better not come here cause I don't like that bitch." said Q
