Two more months passed and finally I got a formula that might be the cure. The thing is I only got clarence to see the history not the materials to make the cure.

My screen rings and I switched it to my tv.

"Any news on the formula?" Kat asks.

I found out it was a group of people who created the virus, but died because it got loose.

"I just finished it."

I scanned it and uploaded it to my laptop.

"Good maybe then there will be no more deaths." Kat says.

Her husband just died from the virus.

"How have you been?"

"Just been working my butt off." Kat says.

I nod in understanding.

Kat has never been the one to dwell on the past.

"I am sending it to you now."

"Okay." Kat says.

"How long do you think it will take to create the cure?"

"Well, we have everyone working in shifts so about a month or so." Kat says.

"Okay."

"I just got it and I will keep you informed." Kat says.

"Thank you."

After the call ended I just took down notes and read.

After another month there was testing on the cure which was not much progress as of yet. All we could do is hope it works so life can continue.

Oh how I miss sitting and watching nature. I miss sitting under trees on a hot summer day. I miss sitting on the beach watching the waves. I miss the smell of flowers, espically roses. I miss feeling the wind blowing in my hair. I miss walking at the park near my home. The thing I miss the most is the beauty of nature.

I remember Brent and I were going to go on vacation to go backpacking. That was until Gabby got Brent and Ashly together. After that Brent canceled our trip that summer since Gabby got pregnant and Ashly wanted to settle down. Gabby always though Ashly and Brent would make a perfect couple. While I was stuck holding my feeling in to make everyone else around me happy. Brent never was told I had a crush on him, but it was for my sister's and Gabby's happiness. Before all that Brent and I always did something that had to do with nature each summer.

My screen vibrates and I switch it to my tv.

"Angina?" Andy asks.

"Yes."

"I am sorry to inform you that Kat passed away last night." Andy says.

"What?"

"She was infected and gave the test treatment, but it only worked for a while." Andy says.

"So my formula give false hope?"

"So far it has been equal. Some patients get better while other get better then sicker." Andy says.

"Is there going to be a live funeral?"

"Unfortunately she had the server case of the black plague. So her body was burned right away." Andy says.

"Was anyone else informed?"

"Yes, but just her family." Andy says.

"Should I try making a new formula?"

"Yes and I will send you the information we have so far." Andy says.

"Thank you."

He nods and ends the call.

So my formula works quickly, but at times it does not work completely. I wonder why it does that.

After getting an email from Andy with all the information I started to get to work on creating a new formula.

I was so deep into it that I almost missed a call.

"Hello?"

I could barely hear then on my phone so I switched it to my tv.

"Hello?"

"Ah I can see you now." Chrissy says.

Chrissy is Chris's twin sister and one of my friends.

"What is up?"

"Did you hear about the deaths in the lower male and female bunkers?" Chrissy asks.

"No."

"Well apparently they were mingling and made the virus spread like wild fire." Chrissy says.

"Mingling?"

"It is the PG for the term reproducing." Chrissy says.

"Then why not just say that. And how the heck did that happen? I thought the transport areas were locked after the first party here."

"Well apparently they found the backup tunnel." Chrissy says.

"Is that now on lock down?"

"Yes, but since it happened we are on strick orders to stay in our rooms and if anyone is seen out of their room they will be kicked out of the bunkers." Chrissy says.

"Maybe then it will prevent people from meeting up."

"I highly doubt that." Chrissy say.

"Why?"

"Because we are social being." Chrissy says.

"True."

After we said our good byes I went to sleep.
