Hello boys and girls here is the next chapter of my black clover story and I'm going to be straight forward with you there will be a part of the story which will basically make this chapter filler since all of the character development that happened during the... Royal knight tryouts arc would not happen in this situation. Now for my question of the day and that is what do you think the test will be like to become a royal knight? It is a chapter that I have had on my mind to do for about the time the royal knight tryout ark started. Now with that all said and done let's get on with this story.

Y/n POV

I started to open up my eyes while my body feels painful and that's when I remember that I had just gotten out of a fight against Reisi, guess I lost it. I tried to sit up only to feel a hand lightly placed onto my chest.

Reisi:"don't, your body need to recover y/n so lie back down."

I nodded and suddenly I felt the small arms of Anna wrap around me.

Anna:"yeah! Your awake dad."

I looked over to Anna seeing that there was a tear going down her cheek, I placed my hand onto Anna's head.

Y/n:"yes I am up, and sorry that I lost Anna."

Reisi:"no you won."

I looked at Reisi confused since what little I could remember before passing out is that Reisi was left standing.

Y/n:"what do you mean Reisi?"

Reisi then started to undo the bandages that were around my chest and stomach.

Reisi:"because I didn't beat you on my own."

Reisi POV

Flashback

I held my hands towards my mouth and coated it in my blue clan aura.

Reisi:"all of you get here now?"

Then one by one all of my blue clan members appeared with there swords in there scabbards, all of them bowed onto one knee but some of them were responsible for the marks on y/n back.

Reisi:"everyone, show me your swords."

Some looked confused But obliged taking there swords out showing that there swords were clean without a hint of blood. The ones that didn't take there swords out have just confirmed there guilt.

Reisi:"why are you not taking your swords out?"

I didn't want to hear an excuse as I pulled out one of there swords to see there was blood on it, y/n blood. I did the same to the rest of the ones that didn't take there swords out when I told them to and like the first y/n blood was on them.

Reisi:"those of you who have clean swords can go while I talk to the others."

They nodded and using Elly portal magic to go away since there was no one else away they could use there blue clans teleportation, turns out even y/n red clan can do that.

Reisi:"right, so explain why y/n blood is on your swords?"

I looked at all of them hurt that even my lieutenant seri would betray me.

Seri:"sir Reisi, we didn't want the people to see there prince lose t-"

Reisi:"so you thought that I would lose this fight?"

She seems shocked about what she said or it might have been what I said.

Takeru:"sir, seri didn't mean that, she only meant that if it looked like you were going to lose then it might trouble your succession to the throne. There are all ready nobles hoping to get rid of you from the line of succession."
