So before we start I'm writing this day after the previous chapter and I've thought which squad you are joining and if you don't like it well tell me which you would join and what your favourite squad is mine is the Arora deer's because deer are my favourite animal and I really like rill.

Y/n POV

So it's now night time and from what I heard the prick I beat was royal and the little brother of the captain of the sliver eagle's I'm glad I could put him in his place. Now we are waiting for our number to be said then we hear yuno's number was called and we wait to see if any captain wants him.

Announcer:"does any captain want him in there squad!"

Then I wait and witness every squad captain raise their hand while everyone was shocked me and Asta look on without surprise but I am a bit jealous that my little brother get all this attention.

Yuno:"I'd be a honor to join the golden dawn"

He spoke all calm and respectful like his normally self and just walked past Asta and stood next to me.

Y/n:"good job being the first commoner to join the golden dawn and get all the captain's wanting you"

Yuno:"thank you y/n do you think Asta will get accepted into a squad?"

Y/n:"hopefully but he was crap aside from the combat part"

Then Asta is up and the announcer said the same thing as yuno's but unlike yuno no captain put there hands up.

Y/n thought:'come on just raise a hand I don't want him to be crushed'

Announcer:"no hands"

Yami then stands up and then starts to talk to Asta.

Yami;"well that's no surprise."

Everyone turned to face him like he was the only person that mattered in the arena.

Yami:"no matter how high your combat skills are if the source of your power is unknown no one wants anything to do with it. In the end, the only thing desired from a magic knight is their magical power"

Y/n thought:'well that's yami honest review of others power'

Yami:"as the name implies the main thing that we look for in a magic knight is magic power"

As he said that he realises waves of his magic energy that felt like I was being pushed down. then he jumps down and start to walk up to Asta.

Yami:"nobody here will want you because you have no magic power. You said that you were aiming to be the magic emperor right? That means that you're going to surpass the 9 of us. Do you think that you who has no magic can say that to my face!?"

It goes quite as yami is right up in asta's face then Asta start's to talk again.

Asta:"I don't care if I don't get chosen here today. No Matter how many times I trip up no Matter who says what to me on day I WILL BE THE WIZARD EMPEROR!!"

I was shocked to say the least at what Asta Had the stones to stand up to this titan of a man. It was silent for a few seconds then yami started laughing.

Yami:"you're funny!! Come join the black bulls"

Asta:"huh?"

Y/n thought:'well he is getting into a squad at least step one in his dream is in motion.'

Yami:"by the way you have no say in the matter! Be prepared to be run the lowest of all hell in the black bulls! and one day become the wizard king"

Yami then holds his hand out and the arena was in shock at this scene no more so than Asta who's face showed shock wonder and admiration then out of nowhere he yells out like he's being tortured.
