My Ex

"Come on Y/N!" Allie shouts. I rush out of the house without breakfast and Allie and I run to the school. The power went out so are alarms didn't go off so now we're late on our first day of high school. We arrive at school to see a group of werewolves standing in the auditorium surrounding all the kids. Allie and I walk up to the werewolves and Allie runs over to Addison, her best friend. I see Wyatt so I run over and jump onto his back.

"Hey pup." He says and I get off his back laughing. He puts his arm around my shoulder and Addison walks over to me.

"Get away from them Y/N. They're going to hurt you." Addison says and I shake my head.

"No they won't. They just came to join our school." I say and Allie walks up to me.

"Y/N. They aren't nice. They are evil." She says and I glare at her.

"No! They aren't evil! They are actually really nice." I shout at both girls. I look up at Wyatt who smiles at me.

"How do you even know them Y/N?" Allie asks me confused.

"The other night, I came home late because I went on a walk in the forest and I lost my way back and that's when I met Wyatt." I explain to the girls. Addison and Allie give Wyatt a threat glare and I get angry. I feel my eyes burn and then I start coughing.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" Wyatt asks me. I look at him and smile.

"I've always had a cough like that when I get mad. My eyes burn and then I start coughing. It's been like that since I was 5." I whisper to him and he nods. Addison and Allie try dragging me away from the werewolves, but I plant my feet and I don't budge. Addison and Allie complain so much when I decide to be stubborn like this.

"I don't want to move." I complain as they keep pulling and pushing me. Wyatt picks me up and carries me over to the other students. He sets me down and tells me to stay and then he walks back to the other werewolves. I follow him like I'm attached to him.

"Y/N." Addison complains. Wyatt rolls his eyes and laugh.

"Remember when you didn't want to leave Zed's side when he was the only one who understood how you felt? Well that's how I feel with Wyatt! He's the only one who understands how it feels to be an outsider!" I say and I watch as Allie and Addison flinch at my words.

"Before anyone decides to treat the werewolves like outsiders, just remember that I know what goes on and I will find you!" I threaten the whole school and Wyatt grabs my hand.

"Calm down Y/N." He says and that's when I realize that my eyes are burning. I look into Wyatt's dark brown eyes and I feel my body relax. Addison, and Allie go to class with the other zombies and everyone else follows them. Within a few moments, it's only the werewolves and I in the auditorium. Wyatt hugs me and I smile.

"Aww. Y/N and Wyatt-" Wynter starts saying but Wyatt growls at her and she stops.

"Y/N." I hear someone's voice from behind me. I freeze, not letting go of Wyatt's hand. I turn towards the door and see Eric standing there. I glare at him as he walks closer to me. I turn to Wyatt who looks confused. I shrug as Eric walks closer to me. Before he can put his hands on me, Wyatt steps in between us and growls.

"So it's true. You really are dating a dog. Eric says around Wyatt. I feel my eyes burn. Eric punches Wyatt in the jaw and I watch as Wyatt grabs Eric by the neck and throws him against the wall. Willa holds Wynter and the other wolves back.

"He's not a dog!" I shout at him. My eyes burn even more and I've never felt this much pain before but I can handle it. Eric smirks and walks over to Wyatt. He stabs Wyatt in the neck with a needle and starts beating the crap out of Wyatt. I scream at the top of my lungs for him to stop. I channel all my energy to my hands and I feel like tiny needles stab into my skin as I start beating Eric. The only thing that was going through my mind was that he hurt Wyatt so he will pay.

"Y/N! Get back here! Don't fight!" I hear Willa shout for me but I don't listen. Eric grabs me by the hair but I spin around and bite him in the arm. He screams in pain but I don't care.

"Y/N." I hear Wyatt whimper on the ground. He holds his side where Eric kept kicking him and I crouch next to him. Tears leave my eyes as I realize what Eric did to him.

"He's drugged and Eric will pay. I promise." I say looking over Willa who nods.

"Who is he to you?" Wyatt asks me and I look down at him.

"He's my ex." I say and Wyatt looks away. "Don't worry. I don't like him." I say and Wyatt looks back at me and smiles.

"Who do you like?" He asks standing up holding his side.

"You." I mumble to myself and he raises his eyebrows at me.

"Who?" He asks smiling and I know he heard me the first time.

"You." I say and he smiles even bigger.

"He obviously likes you back." Willa says and Wyatt and I blush.
