Always Will Be Pups

I beat everyone to my house. We decided to hangout at my house until we decided to tell Ryver where the wolf den is. I rush into my room and lay on my bed and cry into my pillow. I had 4 tests today, and some of the girls were saying that I was cheating in Wyatt with Ryver, and they were trying to get me mad all day. I start screaming into my pillow.

"Y/N?" I hear Ryver's voice. I look at my door where everyone is standing.

"Hm?" I ask and Wyatt sits next to me.

"What's wrong?" He asks and I sit up. I see one of the girls that were mean to me my whole life standing next to Allie.

"You!" I shout and everyone looks at her.

"What did Ellie do?" Allie asks and I snap my teeth at Ellie.

"She told everyone that I'm cheating on Wyatt with Ryver! It's not true! How dare you!" I scream out and Wyatt wraps his arms around me.

"Calm down, Y/N. Please. For me. You're getting scary again." He begs and I calm down. He lets me go and Ellie walks forwards. I jump at her and snap my teeth at her, but Ryver, Zed, and Wyatt pull me back.

"I hate you! I never want to see you! Traitor!" I scream at Ellie and she backs away in fear. "You created this monster! You torment me everyday! Ever since first grade, you've been being mean to me! It's got to end now!" I scream at her one last time. I turn to face the boys and I lay my head on Wyatt's chest and cry as the boys hug me.

"I can't believe how well she gets along with boys." I hear Wynter whisper to Allie.

"Well, they're like brothers to her." Willa says before Allie can respond. Zed and Wyatt back up as Ryver picks me up and tosses me onto the bed and I bust out laughing.

"No no no." I complain while laughing. He starts tickling me and I can't stop laughing. I slide off the bed and Zed and Wyatt help Ryver tickle me. We all start laughing and after a while, all four of us are on our backs laughing. The girls walk over and watch us laugh uncontrollably on the floor. I see Ellie smirking and I stop laughing. She walks over so she's standing above me and I snap my teeth at her. The boys stop laughing and Zed pushes Ellie away while Ryver and Wyatt hold my arms. Ellie doesn't back away so I kick her in the gut and she stumbles back.

"Y/N. Please." Addison complains, but I don't listen this time.

"Y/N. Think back to the happy times in Russia." I hear Ryver whisper in my ear. I calm down and look at him.

"Mne zhal'." I say and he smiles. I hug him before turning to Ellie. "Get out of this house." I growl and she leaves right away.

"What did you say in Russian?" Addison asks me as we all head down to the living room.

"I'm sorry." I say and she looks at me shocked.

"I didn't know you knew Russian." She says and I point at Ryver who smiles.

"I had a great teacher in Russia." I say and he laughs. I walk over to Wyatt who's sitting on the couch watching reruns of the Kentucky Derby. I sit down next to him and lean against him. He sighs and I chuckle. Ryver walks over and sits next to me. I glare at him, but he just smiles back. He knows that Wyatt doesn't like him, so he's trying to get Wyatt upset. "Come with me." I whisper to Wyatt as the race ends and Medina Spirit wins the 147th Kentucky Derby. He gets up and we walk out back. I live on the edge of town so part of the forbidden forest is right behind my house. We jump the fence and race to a stream about 500 yards from the fence.

"Wow. It's beautiful." Wyatt says watching the wildlife as the walk and play around the stream.

"Just wait. Right about now." I say and I point up stream. A huge buck pads its way down the middle of the stream. He dips his head to Wyatt and I. We return the greeting as we stand up to go back home.

"That was amazing!" Wyatt says as we arrive back at the house. I walk in and everyone looks at me.

"Um. Y/N, we have something for you. You always said you wanted this animal, and we live near a jungle. Yes, the forest is actually a jungle and not a forest. People got it wrong. Anyways, here is your happy late 16th birthday present." Zed says and Allie whistles. I hear a couple booms and I look at the stairs to upstairs, and I see a leopard standing there.

"You're joking." I say and they all nod. I jump up and down, squealing. I look at Wyatt who smiles. "You knew about this?" I ask and he nods.

"He's the one who got it and tamed it down. It'll be living with you when you move into the wolf den." Addison says as I walk over to the leopard.

"Chase." I say and she roars. "Like that name?" I ask and she licks my hand. Everyone laughs as Chase follows me over to them. Wynter walks over to Chase and bends down. She puts a moonstone necklace on Chase's neck. Wynter walks back and Wyatt walks over to me. I hug him and he kisses the top of my head.

"Come on. Ryver needs to know where the den is if he's gonna hang around with us." Wyatt says opening the back door. Chase runs out but pauses when she sees the fence. Willa, Wynter, and Wyatt jump the fence while everyone else climbs it. Chase looks at me and I run and jump the fence. I look back but Chase just paces back and forth.

"Chase. Come on." I whisper and she looks at me. She runs and jumps the fence like us. I pet her and we decide how we'll all get to the den. Willa stays with everyone else, while Wynter, Wyatt, Chase, and I race. Chase comes in second with me in first. My first time beating everyone.

"Haha. You win." Wynter says as she arrives. I look into the den where Wyatt's laying down.

"How'd you get here so fast?" I ask walking over to him.

"Took a short cut." He says and I laugh. Chase licks his hand and he pets her. Wyatt and I bust out laughing as Chase falls over and falls asleep. Willa and the others walk in and look at Wyatt and I laying on the floor laughing our heads off.

"Are they always like this?" Ryver asks and I laugh harder.

"Always will be pups." Willa says and I keep laughing.
