Kermit had recently moved to Zootropolis and was enjoying his daily walk in the park when he came across his mortal enemy, Judy Hopps. Kermit strongly disliked Judy due to the fact that she turned down his application to be a detective. Kermit was fuelled by rage and grabbed a log off a tree and hit her around the back of the head killing her. He then dragged her limp body and dumped it in the nearby lake.
