Lena's P.O.V

It was the night of the Festival, the meadow, was this huge pure green grass field that was the perfect observatory to the night sky above. Heat lamps and white Christmas lights where strung so people could see their way around, the dirt path that cut through the forest, that lead to the meadow, was lined with paper lanterns and dimly lit candles, I was nervous coming closer to the field, you could see the lights and table booths that had different samples of food, in the middle of the field was a stage set up, my hands curled in anticipation, "you here yet?" Ross called, "Almost!" I excitedly whispered, "We're going on stage now, i'll see you after!" a twist started to form in my stomach as I heard excited fan girls screaming when they came on stage, "I'll be in the crowd!" I called, we made it to the field, and the instant smell of hot chocolate hit my nose, R5 started off with one of their songs that I recognize, as my family made our way over to the booth that sells hot coco. Some people were already laid out at the end of the field where the meadow jets down off a small cliff that leads back into the forest, which is why it makes it the perfect place to view the meteor shower; there's no trees to block the sky. I got my hot coco and me and Lisa made our way to the stage, that's when I saw him the tall, beachy blond haired man, in a blue and greened stripped t-shirt, and ripped jeans. He was singing this beautiful verse, and I joined in, his eyes scanned the crowd, but I was really far back there, past all the screaming fans and curious adults it was pretty dark outside anyway I doubt he could see me. He turned away from the crowd towards, Rydel and Ratliff, "You're here!" he excitedly whispered for only me to hear. I just laughed, as he turned around and started singing again. A few songs passed and I found a trash can to discard my Styrofoam cup, and a mint generous of my mother's purse. I made my way back into the crowd listening to Ross's... well his echo, I heard his voice in real life, but also in my head, it made almost and echo-y sound.

Ross's P.O.V

We were almost done in the show and my anticipation grew in my breath and heart beat, I couldn't wait to see her, but the knot in my stomach grew more and more the closer the time was coming, what if our connection does end? I gripped the mic harder, if it does I still have her, it may be a even more bumpy road that we go down, but I will have her by my side, always. The crowd screamed as we finish our show, leaving the stage and allowing this jazz group to pass us as they made way to the stage, the meteor shower was about to begin and my siblings and I made our way to the crowd, girls swarmed us, talking to my siblings and I, but I desperately wanted to see Lena. My band covered for me and I went to the edge of the field, weaving my way through couples that where lying on blanket, gazing up at the sky. "Lena, I'm by the cliff, where are you?" I called, ignoring the by-standers weird faces as I obviously talked to myself. Just then bright lights started streaming in the sky falling downward and making everyone stop to stare. "Ross?" I heard Lena's voice in my head, "Ross!" but this time the voice came from my excited siblings they came to join me standing up, staring at the sky. I wanted to go look for her, but I knew I should stay in one place, if she was looking for me. "Lena..." I whispered, about to forget my rule and scour the field looking for her, when I heard a voice, echo by me. "Ross?" it came from my head, but also somewhere closer, "Lena? where are you?" my siblings were tightly at my side and a cliff was directly in front of me, but the name was echoing around I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. "I'm right behind you." It echoed around, I swung around so fast, and saw a girl beaming at me, she had shoulder length brown hair, her eyes were huge green emeralds, shinning up at me. My eyes lit up as I saw her, and it was like the whole time I spent with her flashed before me, both of our faces glowing as what could only be described as magic sent electricity between us. She ran up to me squeezing me in one of the greatest hugs of my life I was able to rest my chin on the top of her head, and breath in her sweet smelling perfume. Wet tears spilled out onto my shirt and I couldn't help but let a few trickle down my cheek. She squeezed me tighter. "This time i'm not letting go." I whispered to her, unsure if she was able to hear me from the closeness, or because she could still hear me from our connection. But her wobbly voice answered our question. "I never want you to."I heard her say out loud, it didn't echo in my head,I just heard it. Her perfect voice. I gripped onto her as she started to cry with more passion, i'm not sure if it's because we both knew the connection was broken, or if she was happy to see me. She looked up a huge smile on both of our faces, "Hi, Ross, it's nice to meet you." She grinned, and I just burst out laughing. "It's nice to meet you, too, Lena." I pulled her into the hug again, never wanting to let go.
