Ross's P.O.V

"So it really is you." The girl mumbled back. "Really, Really." I sighed. "How...how is this possible?" I clicked my tongue on the roof of my mouth. "Well obviously you're an obsessed fan and you went to some witch lady, and she did some weird voodoo magic, and BAM, our thoughts are connected." "UH, excuse me! how do I know you didn't do all that?" I chuckled back, "Lena, I have no clue who you are, but you know who I am." She sucked in a deep breath, "This is serious Ross, I have no clue what happened. I don't do weird voodoo things with old ladies, the only crazy things I do is wish on...." she stopped. "Oh, my god, The comet!" we both shrieked at the same time. "You wished for this to happen is that it?" I coyly asked. "NO! that's stupid, and quite frankly a waist of a wish. I wished for, um...." She trailed off again. "We'll what did you wish for?" she asked. "Me?" I felt my face heat up, "Noth...nothing, just a sign, I guess." She cut in "Me, too! a sign! that..." I let out a breath, we'll be getting no where at this rate, "It was for a sign that my true love was out there." I mutter back looking down at my feet. She just gives a small chuckle, "Yeah, that what I wished for, too." Then there was the most incredible awkward silence, I have ever experienced, and it was from a conversation in my head. "Maybe...the comet mixed it up." "Yeah." I agreed. "Yeah." She echoed back.

Lena's P.O.V

I don't think I ever felt silence quite this loud. God, that was stupid of me to say, what if he is the one? Oh man, he can't read thoughts right? I was tempted to ask him but it was nice to know I wont have that voice in my head all the time. I sat at my desk, in my pink swivel chair, to uncomfortable to say something out loud. "Wait." Ross's voice echoed in my brain, I perked up. "How do I truly know you're a real person, you tweet me something." "What do you want me to say?" "Tell me.... I will never wish on comets again, they ruin famous people lives." I couldn't  help but giggle a little, but then rolled my eyes. "You're life's not ruined, you ended up with someone who doesn't talk much anyway, so that's a plus." I started typing out the tweet, as he responded with an 'Oh goody!' I included his twitter name and wrote out what he wanted me, too. Then clicked send. "Okay." I mumbled to myself, Its really weird, because I know he's listening, but to other people, it just looks like i'm talking to myself. this is probably going to ruin our lives. "Did you find it yet?" He let out a long "Uhhhh," as he continued to scroll. "'I'm sorry alot of people tweet me, okay?" "Oh sorry Mr. Big Shoot." I mocked him back. He must have stopped scrolling because he let out a laugh. "I found it." "Good, hey, I have a question though, can you hear my thoughts? Or is it only what I say out loud?" I asked him, "lets test it, think about something." We were both silent, and I let my thoughts run wild, I thought about when I first saw him on T.V and then discovering his band on youtube. It brought some warm smiles to my face, sure I like the guy, but i'm not obsessed with him. "Well, could you hear what I thought of?" He asked, "not that I know of, what did you think about?" "Pancakes, how annoying you are, and this girl i'm gonna take out on Friday." I let out a groan, "what did you think about?" I blushed, I couldn't tell him this now, "I thought about how annoying you are." I protested, "Great, its a mutual thing." he muttered back. It was quite for a bit. "Can, I ask you something?" he interrupted again, in a puppy dog voice that was quite sweet, but starting to get on my nerves. "Anything." "What are we suppose to do now?" my mind drew a blank, "I guess, try to lead a normal life as possible, there must be some way to break this thing." I answered, "Great, you dedicate your life to doing that, I have to go to rehearsal." I stomped my foot "Ross! I have a life, too you know!" he laughed, "Well doll, yours is probably not as important as mine." I growled, this guy, is definitely getting on my nerves.

Ross P.O.V

I was standing in the center of my two brothers, my lips mashed at the mic, bass in my hand, my fingers ached to strum again, I cannot even begin to describe how good it feels, to lock all the instruments together and our voices in one solid tune. It rocked. I haven't heard from Lena in a while, she was talking to some people, must have been her family, but other than that she's been quite, I was kind of curious as to what she was doing, maybe... maybe we stopped being able to communicate, maybe she found a cure, but, why would she not tell me good-bye? I told my siblings I was going to the bathroom and that they could practice a bit without me, so they wouldn't hear me talking to myself in there. I locked the door to the plain tan room, and paced a bit, what should I say. I felt something though, someone else's breathing pick up a bit, it wasn't mine so.... I can hear her breathing! maybe she knew I was alone and wanted to talk, too. "Whatcha doing?" I finally blurt, her breathing soothes down, back to my pace, where I could hardly notice its there. "Homework." she finally answers in her soothing voice, I smile, "Sorry if i'm distracting you..." she laughs "not at all, I like it actually, its like a Private concert in my brain." I grin again, "I'm glad." there was a bit of an awkward pause, and I blurted out the first thing that came to mind, "Did you research some thing yet?" I cringed at what I just said, how could I be so stupid. I sense the annoyance in her voice, "No..." she growled, "I told you i'm busy." "with what? how come homework's so important?" I feel like she rolled her eyes, she would be the type of person who'd do that. "You try going to college, where universities don't already know your name, grades and extra school activities are the only thing I have." I change the subject to what new thought that was plaguing my mind, "What do you look like Lena?" Her breathing paused for moment. "Erh, I have dark brown hair, that stops at my shoulders.... green eyes...I'm pretty tall I guess." I pictured her some more, "We'll you already know how sexy I am." She clicked her tongue on the roof of her mouth. Rocky then boomed from outside the door, "Ross, hurry up man!" and I left making sure I said good-bye.

Lena's P.O.V

The rest of the day was pretty interesting, my twin asked me who I was talking too once, but I just blew it off that I was remembering lines for a poem I was suppose to memorize for English. She mumbled "what a weird poem." then went down to eat. We luckily didn't share a room, but we have rooms right next to each other, i'm pretty sure if we did though, she would definitely notice somethings up, shes very adapt that way. The day went quietly by, I was able to eat dinner with my family without him wanting to talk to me, I must say though, the things he says out of context are pretty hilarious, since I have no clue who he's talking to or what he's talking about, its pretty funny the things he adds in. I had to stop myself from busting a gut at the dinner table when he randomly said, "Yes, i'll try your spinach dip." I just pretended my water was going down the wrong throat. The only time he was talking specifically to me was when he was blowing the punch lines to the new episode of Austin and Ally that I was watching. Then he went to play video games with his brothers and would do some victory whoops, and hollers while I was taking a shower. Other than that, he shares a room with his brother Ryland, so there wasn't really time for talking. I snuggled down in bed after setting my alarm, I wasn't really sure what he was up to, and quite frankly I wasn't sure if this would be weird or not, but I mumbled out loud, "Night, Ross." and winced while I waited for a reply. He was pretty quite but then I heard him mumble back "goodnight Lena." Right after he told his other siblings goodnight. With that, I shut my eyes and fell asleep to his rhythmic snoring.
