They found everybody still in the royal chambers. "Hello, your majesties." Lucy curtsied and smiled. "I am sorry I had to leave. There was something I had to do." Trace walked in behind her, bowed and smiled.

"My queen, the guests are starting to arrive and the feast will be placed upon the table soon."

"That's excellent news. Thank you, Trace." She waved a hand and he walked out again.

Lucy sat down next to Jane who was happy to have her back to translate. Marcus might have lied to her about some things, and she didn't trust him.

"So. Back to the feast now. What does the groom and bride want for meat?"

Lucy talked to Jane and she thought about it. "Roasted pig. I love roasted pig!"

Lucy smiled and told the queen. Jayce said, "I would like it if there were roasted ducks." Jane's nose scrunched with distaste but she didn't say anything.

"Now about the other dishes. For example, do you want minced meat pie, or fruit, or breads and rolls, or anything?" she asked, jotting down everything on a piece of parchment.

"Rolls with jams, apples, and pastries of the best kind!" Jane's face lit up. Lucy laughed and repeated it.

"Potatoes, buttered radishes, sweet bread," Jayce listed off, "Chicken pot pie, pudding. And of course the best ale we have. Red wine too."

"My king and queen." A servant came in and bowed. "The feast is prepared and the guests readied. They are all awaiting your arrival."

Knight Marcus left first, then Lucy was pulled along by Jani, followed by the other siblings, and last came the king and queen. Trumpets were sounded when they emerged and the crowd cheered. For the first part of the meal, Lucy sat down with her men, laughing and talking. She made sure everyone got what they wanted, and made sure none of the men got into trouble.

The roasted lamb was delicious, and made Lucy's mouth water. When she finished with her lamb and chicken, she was asked to join the royal family to dine. She agreed and walked up to the high table and sat next to Jani and Jayce.

"Hello. Anything interesting happen since I've been gone?" She smiled and Jayce laughed.

"Yes, um, you left. We had a feast and minstrels come and everything. It lasted for a week."

"Jayce," Lucy whined. "That's positively rude."

"You are right. I'm sorry." Jayce smiled and hugged her. "But you were rude for just leaving without a good bye."

Lucy blushed and stared at her plate. "I'm sorry, Jayce, dear friend. But we are all together now. Right, Jani?" Her bright red hair bounced as she excitedly nodded.

"Oh, we are going to have fun, Lucy!"

"Lucy, dear." Knight Marcus signalled her to come to his side. She obeyed and leaned down so she could hear. "Lucy, I heard you were the commander of the trip back home. Lucas was supposed to be the commander."

"Ah, yes, uncle, but I seemed to have more knowledge than he on the journey. I took over."

"I also heard," he continued, lowering his voice so only Lucy could hear. "That a man tried to attack you. Are you alright?"

"Yes, Marcus." She showed him her forearm. "Only a little nick. I blacked out and was fine afterwards. You are starting to be as annoying as Thanos." She hugged his neck and went to sit next to her friends again.

"Everybody!" the king boomed. All eyes, knights', lords', servants', guards' and peasants' looked upon their king. "I want to introduce the crown prince's chosen bride, Jane Pressin!" Jasmine nudged Jane who stood, her freckles blending in as she blushed. "And may we welcome back Knight Marcus's niece, the lovely Lady Lucy!"
