Being stuck in a rural outpost can be boring. But corporal Clearstrike manages to spice it up by partaking in a arm-wrestling challenge at the Olde Weasel inn.
Her weapon of choice is a two handed battle-axe. The thief's brand on her arm and her questionable past prevents her from moving up the ranks in the Midaelian army. As if that wasn't enough, there's also a dubious deal she has made with Lord Atruer, god of despair.
But destiny seems to have more for her in store. The lord of Despair won't be the only god she encounters.
