My heart broken

Once upon a time... oh who am I kidding you people don't care about that junk. This story isn't going to be about the damsel in distress because I think it's time for the villain to win. My name is Angela and this is the true story of Snow White. First you should know I am NOT as bad as they make me seem. As a child all who laid eyes on me loved me.

I was the blacksmiths daughter and was the most beautiful girl throughout all the land. Though people did seem to mention some brat up in the palace whose skin was so fair it was as nice as snow. But I always wondered 'why would they like some shut in child whose skin was snow white and pale' (pun intended). But any way back to me, I was loved by all and by the time I was 14 I had suitors lined up out the door. I only had my eye on one, David.

He was the miller's son and had these amazing hazel eyes that shone in the sunlight. We had been best friend since we where 8 and the most amazing adventures together. Like once we had been playing around in my fathers forge and taken two of his unfinished sword and had the most amazing sword fight. Of course I won I had always been the strong of the two of us. Then one day we finally shed our childhood skin I got my first kiss with the love of my life. I wanted to marry David right then and there but my father had other ideas.

The king had herd about the blacksmith's beauty of a daughter and was also (inconveniently) looking for a wife to raise his daughter. Talk about a slacker of a father. So the king summoned my father and me to the palace to see if the rumors where true, and of course they where. Then the king said, "How much for your daughter." He said this as if I was some sheep to be bought off of a poor sheared.

My father replied, "If it pleases the king then I give you my daughter as a gift of loyalty." I was in shock, my father the man I trusted had just given me to this old guy as if I was a sword to be traded.

Then the king ordered to his servants, "Go and dress this woman in robes of white silk, kill the fattest cow and order the kitchen to make a cake. This most beautiful girl is to become my bride." By then I was all like OMG this is not happening I already have a boyfriend. But alas I could say none of this out loud for the king would probably decapitate me on the spot. So I was dressed in a fine robe of white silk and was married to this old fat smelly king. After the wedding he took me around the kingdom a showed me off once again like one of his new shine toys. Then as we where going through my old home David saw me and stepped front of the king.

"Your majesty why do you parade around a women who's is not your and heart is else where. It is not right to treat women this way," David bravely and stupidly defended me.

"What gives you the authority to defy me," the king roared. Oh, and by this time I had learned that his name was Joe. Picture that, King Joe the second, major LOL moment.

"I stand my ground on the authority that I am in love with this maiden and it is my belief that she return the feelings."

"Never this girl is mine!" Then the two men pretty much had the ultimate medieval stare down.

Then I was so stupid to blurt out, "Let me go, I love David." The king was so mad at my outburst that he wiped out his sword and stabbed my boyfriend in the gut. Lovely right, and then he just continued on like nothing ever happened. I will never forget the day the love of my life was taken from me taking my heart along with him. Then day got worse when I found that the shut in brat I mentioned earlier was now my daughter cause she was apparently the princess of the tyrant of a king I was now married to. Later I found out that ironically her name was actually Snow White. I couldn't take it any more my heart was acing at the loss of David and it would be until the day I died. So in an effort to take control of my life I showed the kingdom the kings true color, they did the rest form me so that part was easy but I was still stuck with Snow White.
