Chapter 12

Rafe's POV
So I did the damn thing. I asked the girl that has been living in my mind rent free out on a date and I'm so fucking nervous. Kiara is that girl that you wouldn't expect me to go for. What I mean by that is, I'm this rich, popular guy and she's this lowkey, go with flow kinda person. She isn't into all the rich shit. I just really hope I don't fuck this up. So that's why I'm going to talk to Sarah for advice, ya know because they're best friends.
So I walk into Sarah's room and she's sitting at her vanity. Sneaking up behind Sarah, I said "Hey little sis." Sarah gasped. "Rafe, don't scare my like that asshole." I put my hands up in surrender while laughing. "My bad. Hey, I need some advice." Sarah was silent for a second before she said "let me guess.. Kiara?" Shocked that I she knew, I replied, "yes. Wait.. how'd you know?" Smiling lightly, Sarah said "she may have said something about you asking her out on a date." I smiled in response at that. "Well, what do I do for the date? Like do I take to a fancy restaurant or do I do something lowkey like a picnic on the beach?" Sarah thought about it for a minute and said, " If I were you, I'd set up a cute little picnic on the beach. Oh and you need to pick her up at her house with a cute bouquet of flowers but not roses. Do like some daisies or sunflowers. Girls like that. No pressure or anything." Taking in all the advice she had given me, I exhaled. "Okay, thanks sis. Love you, mean it!" As I was walking out the door, she said, "Oh and one more thing. Don't fuck this up because I will not hesitate to put you in your place. She's my best friend, Rafe. I can't lose her." Taking in her words, I said, "I won't. You won't. I promise."  I can't lose her either. She's everything to me.

Hi. So I'm back after like 3 months. This chapter was originally supposed to be their date but I really wanted a scene with Sarah and Rafe talking about his date with Kiara so yeah. Next chapter will be their date. 🖤
