Earth POV:

It was the most awkward day in my life, as I entered Mix's office or 'Our' office as it's supposed to be, I was amused about what I saw,

It was a very big room with a very big office and a cozy couch, there were also a coffe table and alot of plants, it felt so warm, as I was exploring the office I saw another office not larg as the one I saw first but it was good, of course that is my office, I thought to myself and walked to sit there.

“let me tell you some rules and explain the work to you too" Mix stated annoyingly, I just nodded my head so he can continue talking about the work and rules.

“First no one can enter the office except both of us I hate people observing my area, if anyone wants to see me you are supposed to hold a meeting if it's important,

second no one can take the elevator with me but I let you since you're my bodyguard and you need to protect me anyway,

third you will have to be with me any place I have to go so you can keep a close eye on me" Mix said with annoyed tone. I hated how he always talks to me.

I never wanted to do this in the first place but I was compelled , I had no other choices,

“Umm.. what about my salary?" I asked nervously not looking at him, “I will send you the money tonight don't worry" he said looking at some papers as he walked to his office too.

I was very uncomfortable and didn't talk that much just kept exploring the office and the new feeling of being an employee,

I have always dreamed about this I went to college and even took an internship in one of the companies but the salary is the thing that always kept me from working as I dreamed,

“Please get me some coffee I have a strong headache" Mix said while holding his forehead pointing to the coffee corner outside the office, I stood up nervously and walked there to get him some coffee,

“I'm supposed to be your bodyguard not your servant, I am here to protect you ,not to be your maid" I thought to myself while doing the coffee boredly. I headed back to the office with a hot coffee cup in my hand.

When I entered the office I saw Mix sitting in the couch with his eyes shut like he was sleeping “he looks so peaceful while he's sleeping I wonder if he still sad about his mother" I thought to myself again looking at him,

“Do you think I am that handsome? You keep staring at me" He said teasing me as I stood there staring at him, my cheeks tinted pink in embarrassment, “I wasn't" I said  nervously trying not to make any eye contact with him and walked back to my office,

The whole day went by no problems , both of us kept silent I kept just exploring this and that, I didn't want to make it more uncomfortable for him,

“I want to go home now you can send me home then you're free to do whatever you want" Mix said as he stood up to stretch. I looked at him in disbelief,

“I thought I was working as your bodyguard and assistant not a servant or a private driver" I half yelled the last part. Mix just looked at me smugly and said “I can make you do whatever I want if you have your condition making me pay you before even you start working I have the right to make you do anything for me besides by 'sending me home' I meant going with me not driving me there as I already have my own private driver I just wants you to do your job that to protect me"

Mix POV:

I was furious at that point I didn't want to explain anything. I just wanted to go home without being chased from some bastards trying to kill him for my insane stepmother I hate this life why can't I have a normal life,

Yes my stepmother who dad married after my mom passed away not so long as if he was waiting for her to die just to get married to that bitch.

She doesn't love him, all what she cares about is money. That's why she's trying to kill me and she's not shameless about it. She wants to inherit everything by herself.

I stopped thinking noticing I haven't finished talking to Earth. “Now if you're done complaining about what to do for me can we go?" I said and walked out of the office not waiting for a response leaving Earth standing there.

As I was about to enter the elevator Earth chased after me and pulled me out before it could make it way to the entrance, “what the hell is wrong with you" I half yelled shocked about the way he pulled me,

“I can't make it in that thing alone, please" Earth said looking at his feet trying not to meet my eyes, I can see it.

I sighed and waited next to him waiting for the elevator and this time he didn't panic he just felt uneasy but not that bad as this morning that's a relief,

We went to my home then I asked my driver to drive Earth home. he started arguing with me that he will take a taxi but I don't know why I feel like he's feeling down and I was worried, after arguing he nodded his head and thanked me.

I went up and started my dull night routine and went to bed recalling what happened today and the past days.
