Summary:
Percy Jackson wasn't really expecting a break from New York, but he wasn't complaining either.
The truth was that Paul's transfer to a little town in Virginia was very much appreciated. Even though NY is his home, Percy enjoyed the idea of a break from the monster magnet that town was. And even Annabeth, his best friend, agreed it was the best for the Jackson, since he was already a monstrer magnet himself.
So, the son of Poseidon got really happy when he got to transfer his college classes to an online course (using the eletronic network the children of Mars and Hephaestus spent the last years creating), and even managed to get a job at the local bar, the Mystic Grill.
But of course his luck couldn't be that good, and the moment Kol Mikaelson walked through the door and asked for a drink Percy was almost certain he didn't have the proper age to order, the demigod realised he wouldn't be able to keep away from the supernatural drama of Mystic Falls.
Observations:
- welcome to my latest midnight idea that might be horrible, but I'm biased.
- Annabeth Chase: Percy's best friend, practically a sister. They never dated, and she doesn't have much interest in doing so, with him or anybody else. She also didn't want to be an eternal teenager, hence why she isn't a hunter.
- everything that happened at pjo and associates, save for a few changes, like the percabeth relationship (which is strictly fraternal), the demigod digital network and any deaths you wish to prevent.
- Percy is older, has already seen plenty and learned to trust his instincts (as well as to call Annie whenever he suspects anything). Which means that since he sees the Mystic Falls gang every time they go to the grill, he has already connected the dots about the supernatural drama, although he doesn't try to keep up with what's going on very hard so as to not temp himself into helping, since he is, for the first time in a long while, in peace. That is, until Kol appears and they start hanging out.
- Paul has been hired by Mystic Falls High because the last English teacher got caught in the supernatural and ended up dying.
- Percy is 18/19 years old, approximately the same age Kol was when he was turned. His sister, Estelle Blofis, is one or two. And you decide when you want them to arrive at Mystic, since they have to have been there for a while, to have become familiar to the gang, and so that Percy could figure out about the supernatural.
- Percy is older, therefore he might have reached further of his power's potential, like vapor travel, liquid temperature changes, blood and/or liquid control. It depends on what you wish, really.
- Percy is Percy. He admires the gang for their loyalty towards one another, but will still stick to the Original's side due to his relationship with Kol, and will not go down easily.
- There is no specific season, other than the obvious of it being when Kol is there, specially because I haven't properly seen the show, and only know what happens through fanfiction.
