Sarah Salvatore-Saltzman

Chapter One

Sarah POV

Alaric and I had a daily routine where we drop the kids off at school and then we go have breakfast together at our favorite cafe. I love coffee and I need one cup every morning to function. I walked into the coffee shop and went to order our food while Ric waited outside.

"Good Morning Sarah! Are you ordering your usual?" The worker asked

"Yes Chloe, I will get the regular order. So how are your grandchildren doing?" I said

"Oh sweetie they are doing amazing as usual. Are those kids of your driving you crazy yet?" Chloe said

"Of course they are, oh, thank you so much! Have a great day!" I said

As I was grabbing my food I saw two women staring at me. One was tall and blonde with green eyes. The other one was short with brown hair and brown eyes. I could sense that they were supernatural and I could tell that they were new in town. They started walking up to me and said, " Hi I'm Freya and this is my sister-in-law Davina." I then said, " what can I do for you two witches?" Their eyes widened and they said, " how did you know?" I laughed and told them that I could sense their magic.

I then introduced myself and they asked," wait you are Sarah Salvatore as in the headmistress of the Salvatore School." I simply nodded and they said, " we were wondering if we could enroll our niece there." I grabbed my bag and pulled out our business card." The top number is mine and the bottom one is my partner Alaric's. Call anytime you want." I got interrupted by Ric walking in and he told me to hurry up because then we would be late. " I guess it's time for me to go but have a wonderful day witches!"

Freya POV

"Did we just meet her?" Davina asked me

"I think we did, Nik is gonna be so jealous that we saw her first. Let's go home and tell him!" I said

Mikaelson Mansion

When Davina and I walked in we saw Elijah reading a book, Nik was painting, Hope was talking with Hayley about the new school and Kol and Rebekah were bickering as usual. They all seemed so calm but we had to call a family meeting to tell everyone who we saw today.

"Everyone we need a family meeting," I said

Elijah looked up from his book and said," What do you need to talk about sister." The Davina quickly said," Today we saw Sarah Salvatore!" Everyone's eyes widened except Hope who was just confused. Nik stood up and threw his glass of bourbon at the wall and walked out. "What was that about and who is Sarah Salvatore?" Hope asked. Kol laughed and said, " That is your new headmistress."

The mood of the house changed after our family meeting and everyone was tense and sad. I decided it was best if I called the school because they would recognize everyone else's voice and name. I picked up the phone and waited for someone to answer.

Sarah POV

"Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, this is Sarah Salvatore speaking!" I said

"Um hi this is Freya, we met earlier today." I heard her say, she sounded nervous

"This is regarding your niece right?" I asked

"Yes, we wanted to know if we could have a tour of the school and my whole family attend," she said

"Of course! How about tomorrow at noon. and just make sure the parents attend." I responded

"Oh great! see you tomorrow" she said and then hung up

I had a weird feeling about Freya and her family but I just brushed it off and went home to my wonderful family and got ready for the long day ahead of me.
