The tribe was dancing around the dancing fire, singing along a song that reminded Kahloua of her mother. Her mother died 6 years ago trying to tame the wildest mustang to prove that girls could ride about as well as boys. She never came back after that. The tribe named that mustang Baringa, which means lightning, that suited him very well.

One day, she thought, I will tame Baringa, the wild mustang that no one can tame.

The next day, Kahloua woke up early and packed her bags.

"Where are you going?" asked her father

"Going to finish mother's job" came the answer. And in a blink of an eye, she was gone.

Kahloua explored the country, not missing a single detail. She could hear the bison's grunts tickling her ears, and the wind tangling her hair. Without the taste of the open country's air, it would be like a planet with no trees.

Crack...

What was that?

She turned around to determine what was following her, when suddenly, a herd of mustangs came galloping past her. But one mustang she thought she recognise. That's when she thought...

That's Baringa! He is even more beautiful in real life!
