"Hi, Suho!"

I turned to Lim Jukyung, her sparkling eyes focused on me. I observed her for a moment, speechless. Some curious looks arose around us, indeed, it was rare that someone hail at me, and as far as I remembered, Lim Jukyung had never talked to me like that. How to awaken some gossip. She offered me a radiant smile with small-expression wrinkles that marked the edge of her eyes. She seemed to be in a better condition than yesterday, I was sure that she would not forget her encounter with these men easily, but her light behavior reassured me a little.

"I still wanted to thank you... Thank you, really!" She accompanied her exclamation with a bow.

I swallowed and tried to stay imperturbable facing her momentum. She didn't let me say anything by straightening her back just as fast.

"No! Don't tell me 'It's nothing' or 'no problem'. You acted like a real hero last night!" She said at full speed.

I scraped my throat. "No," is the only word I could muster. All the attention we received made me uncomfortable. I didn't know how to answer these energetic words and I ended up planted in front of her with a stoic face. A hoarse voice saved me from this situation but its beloved scent didn't simplify the task.

"Jukyung, I think he understood."

Han Seojun had just arrived. The red flag hoisted in my head. All his friends followed him, discussing and bickering. He stepped towards us two, his dark pupils fixed on me. I felt my feet numb and my hands become moist as he was approaching. A feeling of danger assailed my thoughts while my body remained frozen as if rooted on the ground. I held his scrutinizing stare until he reached my level. An alarm was triggered in my head, the impression that firemen were on their way to extinguish the ardent fire that spread like a trail of powder throughout my whole body.

I just promise myself yesterday that I would stay away from him...

As I recalled that, I still couldn't move away. Seojun's scent enveloped me, controlled all my needs and my longings. It was like a cloud of magical mist that messed up my brain. If yesterday I already thought he was close to me at two meters away, what could I say right now? I took the wise decision to recoil a few steps under their confusing looks. Seojun frowned at my behavior.

"What are you doing?"

I caught my breath in my throat. "Nothing."

He sighed before clicking his tongue on his palate. "So you can throw kicks to save someone but you're just a coward here?"

His words punched me right in the chest. It was my turn to feel deception and I glared at him. I had forgotten how much Han Seojun's words could be sharp. There was no place for a half-measure, his franchise often left his interlocutors shaken. Despite his fiery eyes, I couldn't help my body to react. I felt hotter by the seconds and my bloodthirst emerged. Jukyung interposed between us, while we stared at each other defiantly.

"Seojun, don't say that. I was going to invite Suho to eat with us today."

Hearing that, my eyes widened and my attention returned to her. Jukyung intercepted my alert gaze and gave me an innocent smile, completely unaware of the position she was going to put me in.

"No, I think that..." My words fell on deaf ears.

As I found myself trapped by Lim Jukyung's jovial expression and Han Seojun's insistent gaze, a stout student stomped by Seojun's side. He slapped him on the shoulder, earning an insult from his friend.

"What are you two doing?" He asked. "We're all starving here."

Seojun rolled his eyes at his remark as Jukyung brushed it off and hastened to respond.
