Meet Up

The following day, after receiving Galvan's text, Caeles decided to visit Galvan in his office. He wouldn't try to visit his house because Galvan spends so much time at work that he basically lives there. There will always be a high chance that Galvan would be at his office, working even after office hours, and would come home at late hours at night.

The moment he entered the office, Galvan was still at the front desk mistaking him for a customer for a second before he composed himself and told him to stay in the backroom for while and wait for him. He thought to himself 'What a poor guy as he headed to the said backroom as he waited for the office hours to end.

While inside, he started looking for something to drink besides water inside his mini-fridge only to be disappointed after seeing only a few snacks and some leftover foods with not even a single can of beer in sight. He reminded himself that Galvan is not an alcoholic so he decided to give up on the idea instead.

Bored, he slouches on the couch and decided to watch some shows on a hologram TV for while, some absolutely bored him while the other's entertained him for a while, about an hour later, the door opened indicating that the company finally closed for the day and Galvan joined him on the room.

Galvan chuckled as saw his friend's boring look while not even a single glass of water or chips was placed on the coffee table. He figured out that Caeles tried to find some beers in his fridge but failed to do so "I am surprised that you still haven't gotten bored to death yet Caeles." Galvan told him as soon as he entered the room with a small smile on his face, staring at his friend.

Caeles adjusted himself and placed his hands behind his head, taking his time to relax as if this is his own house. He didn't even bother looking at Galvan who was carrying some papers with him "Yeah but, next time? Stock up your fridge with some beers, please? It would make me happier if you do~"

Galvan walked towards his office desk and sit on the chair behind it while placing the documents on the right side of his table. "Caeles, the last time I did that was one of the worst ideas I ever made so not this time. Hydrate yourself with some water instead if you please."

Caeles just laughed at his response, brushing it aside, before proceeding to watch the news that was currently flashed on the hologram screen "Due to the disaster involving the Asclepsia hospital tragedy and the virus is still under observations, patients are now continuously swarming inside our local hospitals as our medical professionals were trying their best to accommodate and treat every single one of them...the virus seems to have..."

"Geez, can't they have better news to broadcast?" Caeles said to himself as he continued watching the news while Galvan was on his desk, organizing and checking the songs that Denki will perform at his live show in the next few weeks, review/revise some of the blueprints he made for his next mechanical projects and later, he has to rehearse the dance moves that will be needed for the show.

Hanging out with Galvan is fun for Caeles, even if it means just watching him get frustrated with all the pile of work he has to do during that day. He left his chocolate-colored trenchcoat hangs on the coat hanger near the entrance of the building, leaving him in his usual black t-shirt and white pants which he might wear again if the sky decided to snow or rain, unexpectedly.

Fortunately, due to the news about the virus that might affect the whole city, Galvan's customer traffic has decreased dramatically in the past few days to the point that he had to close his office early during that day and work silently in the backroom where he and Caeles are currently at.

The back office is a medium-sized room coated with a creamy white interior that is prohibited to customers since he does most of the complicated mechanical works in this place so its always messy and also, to provide privacy as to prevent his competitors from learning his technique/strategies, to maintain originality. It mainly consists of a working desk, a long navy blue leather couch, a small glass coffee table with a ceramic flower vase on top were placed different kinds of flowers depending on the season, a few houseplants to keep the place lively, a water dispenser, large bookshelves, and a drafting table. Recently, he added a hologram television in the room to prevent Caeles from getting bored since he stays there most of the time.
