The school festival at UA had just finnished and Izuku Midoriya went to give Eri a candy apple since she really wanted one earlier in the day and Deku just gave it to her.
All of a sudden the villain alarm started to go off and Deku told Eri and Mirio to go some where safe fast as Deku ran off to where he saw the portal and stood in front of it in a fighting position read for the 'villain' that was going to come out.
Meanwhile 10 minutes before the portal opened
Karl was minding his business reading a book from his library until a voice in his head said that he should gather his time travelling stuff fast because it was warning him about the time travel which had never happened before so he decided to do what the voice in his head said so he grabbed his sword, pickaxe, axe, some important items that help him remember his friends and a few of his books from his past adventures and some blank books with and also had 10 red mushrooms qnd 10 brown mushrooms to make mushroom stew for him self when absolutely needed because he didnt know how long he would be gone for this time other like hid previous adventures that he had gone through.
Back at the mha world with the portal
Deku was still infront of the portal as a few minutes later some pro heros came (eraser head, present mic, midnight, hound dog and ectoplasm) they were already to fight the villain or villains but when they saw a boy with a missed coloured hoodie and goggles with swirls in them. (If u dont really know karl design heres a image for it)
