"Y/N what is the answer?" The teacher slammed her hand on my desk, instantly waking me up. My whole body jolted up and I quickly looked around me. Everyone was staring at me. A couple kids in the front of the class were chuckling while others whispered with their friends. I sighed and looked up at the board where the problem is.
𝘚𝘩𝘪𝘵, 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘴𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯
I pull out a piece of paper and start doing the problem just to get the paper taken away from me.
"I just said the answer, Y/N. That's detention." The slim teacher said with a heavy sigh. "Can someone please tell Mx. L/N the answer?" She said walking to the board.
"A equals 24" A voice from beside me said. I look 2 seats away from me to see Sato putting her hand down and smiling at me.
𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘩𝘶𝘩?
"Well it looks like that is all I have to say for today, so you can leave early." Nakamura-Sensei said looking down at her class. "Make sure to study for the test on Thursday. Have a good day." She said as she sat down at her desk.
𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦
I pick up my supplies and start getting ready to leave. I walk to the door when I get tripped, making my stuff fly everywhere.
"You're such a clutz" Sato said while chuckling. I grind my teeth and start picking up my things while they walk out the room.
"Y/N come here" Nakamura-Sensei said to me.
"Yes ma'am" I said standing up slowly. I wonder if I'm failing in her class again. She was my last class of the day. I quickly walk over to her desk and look at what's on it. There is a picture of her and her husband with a little boy, a pencil jar, a name tag, and stacks of paper.
"Did you want something?" I ask while looking down, avoiding her eyes.
"This is the fourth time you fell asleep in class. Are you doing ok? " The light brown haired teacher said looking at me and pushing up her glasses.
"Oh... I'm fine. I guess it's more of a home issue if anything. I'll try my best to not fall asleep in your class again." I said bowing slightly.
"Ok, I'm starting to get worried for you, Y/N. If you need anything or something like that you can talk to me." Nakamura-Sensei said softly. I know she means well but I don't want to tell her about my problems. It just doesn't feel right.
"I'll remember that. Thank you Sensei. " I said with a fake smile. I collect myself and walk towards the door.
"Also Y/N? " She said. I turned around and looked at her. "Don't worry you don't have detention. " She said smiling. I nod and run out.
