I need to start actually giving these chapter's names and stop being lazy smh - Author
I walked down the hallway, my bag hanging down my left shoulder as I heard people whispering. Probably about me and this morning. I wouldn't be surprised; word gets around fast around here and the announcement for me to come to the principal's office didn't help me either.
I stood outside the door, my hand hovering over the doorknob. What would he want with me? Surely, I'm not getting in trouble for this morning, it all happened too fast. Did I do something wrong in past? No, nothing comes to mind. That's only way to find out, plus people are staring at me.
I grabbed the doorknob and slowly opened the door. I walked in and shut the door behind me as I looked around his office. It was dark in here, but light enough for me to see him sitting in his chair writing god knows what.
"Ah, Y/N you're here. Come have a seat." Mr. Kirigiri gestured over to me as he put the papers he was writing away in a compartment in his desk. I made my way over to the chair on the other side of him and before I sat down, I bowed.
"I apologize for not knocking sir, I hope I didn't interrupt you. " I then sat down and looked at him as I tried to sit as straight as I could.
"Oh no, not at all. I didn't call you down over here, didn't I?" He then grabbed a student file then put started skimming through it, apparently trying to act like he was actually reading through it. "I heard that you wanted to be in the main course, hm? " He questioned me.
So that is what this is about. Weird timing for it though.
"Yes sir, if only you could hear me out-" I began.
"Ah, there is no need for that." He closed the file and put it down as he thought to himself. "You remind me of my daughter. Hardworking, a good student, smart, and all."
"Thank you, sir, yes I've heard that Kyoko is an amazing student." I gulped. Why is he stalling? Just get to the point already damn it.
"Hm. Well, I understand why you would want to be in the Main Course, " he stood up and started walking around. "Don't you have a couple friends in there?"
"I wouldn't say friends. There is Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu which I only know personally through Natsumi and Nagito which we only talked briefly after school." I responded to him.
"Right, " he turned around and walked back to his desk. "Well, I've been thinking about your proposal, and I only did what I think is right." He turned the file around to face me then scooted it closer to me as he gestured for me to look through it.
What is this.
I opened it to the first page to see my name and student photo staring right back at me with all the other information about me. Like what I am allergic to, my height, average, hair and eye color, and other things I didn't even know they needed or how they got the information. I then looked at the bottom of the page to see a column named "Class and Classes". I looked below that then my eyes widened. It said, " Main Course Student".
I looked up at him to see him smiling.
"It really is a talent to be able to do what you do, and others have talked to me about your talent. I apologize for not seeing it sooner. " Mr. Kirigiri stated.
I looked back down at the file as I felt so much joy overflow me.
"Welcome to the Main Course, Mx. Y/N" Mr. Kirigiri nodded his head.
I sat there in shock. "Thank you so much Mr. Kirigiri-! I won't let you down." I stood up as I bowed.
"That's the attitude I like to see. Now then, bring all your items to your new locker and head to class, kiddo" His eyes widened as he noticed what he said. He shook his head then gave me a paper with my locker number, classes, and etc.
"Heh, thank you again, sir. " I bow once more before I left his office.
Once I was out of it, I jumped up and down thankful that everyone was in class right now because I am sure I look an idiot. Once I finished, I looked at the paper to see what class I was in. Class 77-B. My smile grew wider.
