The feeling in my legs hasen't returned. It's been five minutes. "Naruto are you coming?" Sasuke shouts at me. "Uhh-er I'll be there in five more minutes." I stare down at my motionless legs. "Still nothing. I guess I have to call Kyubi ." (I totally forgot Kyubi existed 😀) I enter the subconscious state to meet Kyubi face to face. He has his eye's closed, while laying his head down on his arms.
"Kyubi." he gently lifts up his head and looks down at me. "Naruto." Is the only response he gives me. "Kyubi I need you to tell me what's going on and why I can't move my legs." He gives me a serious look and responds "No." He lays his head back down on his arms an shuts his eyes. "What? No?" He nods his head. "Look kid, whatever you do in this world doesn't matter. You won't be messing anything up. That's all I have to say." "What do you mean I won't mess anything up? Isn't this like a alternative universe or something?" Kyubi doesn't respond to the question. "Well at least help with my legs!" I yell at him. "Fine." He lifts up his head once again an opens his eye's. "Let me take over."
I stare at him for moment "Ehh?" "Do you want me to say it again? Let me take over." "I know I heard you!" I yell at him. "Why do you need to take over for my legs to move?" "No questions. If you want your legs to work, let me take over." "At least tell me how long?" "Maybe a hour." "An hour?! Why?" "How many times do I need to tell you, Naruto. No questions." "Fine fine. Do what you want."
1 hour later
I open my eyes to everyone looking at me. I was sitting at the table next to Sasuke and Menma. "Was that Kyubi?" Boruto asked. "Ya, did he say something?" Sasuke nods his head. "What did he say?" "He said something about you not being from here." "Huh?" "Kyubi's exact words were, Naruto isn't from this world." The kids don't look up from the table as he says this. "Naruto. Do you have any idea of what he meant?" I stare down at my empty plate. They must of already ate. "I honestly have no idea." They all give a strange look even the baby. "Just ignore it, he tends to say weird things that don't make sense." "Okay whatever you say, Naruto." The air in the room still feels tense after I cleared up what Kyubi said. Sasuke decides to break the silence and asks the kids about school. I tone out the conversation between Sasuke and the kids. Right my legs should be able to move now. I gently brush my legs together finally being able to feel something. I let out a sigh of relief. I wonder why Kyubi had to take over though and what did he mean by "whatever you do in this world doesn't matter"? I don't know what anything means anymore do I?
"Hey dad do you think you could train me and Boruto today?" Menma aks, making me come back to reality. "Sure. Is there something specific you want or need to learn?" Menma and Boruto look at each other and back to me. "No." "Okay, get ready then we can start." "Okay!" They both run to their rooms to get ready and I follow behind them heading to my own room.
