"I cannot believe the King is finally getting a married." One of the maids said. You're currently sitting in a bath tub with a few maids around you. Two of them are scrubbing your body, while one of them is preparing your clothes for you, and the other one is sitting behind you, washing your hair. They consisted on helping you, preparing you for the wedding, even tho you told there was no need.

"I know! It's about time, he gets married. He can't keep sleeping around with all these woman all the time." One of them reply's, when she was done preparing my clothes. The other maids agreeing with her.

"Was it his own decision to get married?" You asked, as you got out of the bathtub.

"Yes! He just randomly announced, that he wants to get married, as he came home from his weekly visits at the village one day." The one that was washing my hair said, holding out a robe for me. "He suddenly seemed to be in a rush, to get married."

"Maybe, he had some time to truly think about everything," you said. "Maybe, there was something that changed his mind."

"Well, whatever it was, i am thankful for it. I feared, that the King would end up alone." She said with a chuckle.

"You should go get dressed, miss. We don't want you catching a cold, right before your wedding." One of them said, as she looked at me with a small smile on her lips.

"Yeah.. I should probably do that." You chuckle, looking down as you realized, your still wearing your bathrobe.

The maids left, leaving you alone so you could get dressed. You put on a simple cream colored dress that reached your ankles, leaving your down to air dry. You don't have any plans for today, except for helping Maria out. If she allows you to, of course. So there really was no need for you to dress pretty.

The wedding was in two days and the maids were going crazy. They made sure everything was perfect. They made sure the Kings suit and your dress was wrinkle and stainless, made sure the food was perfect, made sure the Kings room - that you were about to share him - was spotless, dust free and always clean, for your perfect night in it together as husband and wife. They didn't dare leaving anything out.

The fact that you have to share a bed with the King still makes you a little uncomfortable. Never having slept with a man in the same room before - let alone a bed. And now having to share a bed, with a man you barely know for the rest of your life, makes you anxious.

You barely talked with the King since the night in the garden. You tried to talk to him, but whenever you saw him he was always busy. So you decided to leave him alone.

You were in the garden, sitting on the grass watching the beautiful sunset and enjoying the night breeze. The garden seemed to have become a place for you, were you could relax, a place where you didn't have to worry about anything, a place with so much silence, a silence where the only thing you could hear were the birds chirping in the background, where you could hear the leaves move whenever the wind got a little stronger, where you could hear anything, if you listened close enough. It was a comfortable silence. You loved it.

You could hear Maria calling for you, calling for you to come inside. Dinner must be ready you thought, as you got up from the grass, flattening your dress and making your way towards the castle. You felt like you were being watched. Your eyes wandered around, looking for something that could be spying on you. You found out who it was quite quickly, it was the King. He was looking at you, out of his window, hiding behind his sheer curtains. You hear Maria call for you again, so you quickly got inside.

"You shouldn't be outside all by yourself at this hour, miss" Maria told you, once you got inside.

"Sorry! I was watching the sunset." You told her, as you sat down at the dining table, giving her a smile.
