"Sakura, come with me," was all Itachi had said before taking her in his arms and leaping onto the roof holding her bridal style. Sakura had let out a shriek and balled her hands into his shirt as she glued her eyes shut. She felt the wind hitting against her face and they traveled for a few moments from roof to roof until Itachi finally came to a stop.

She opened her eyes and noticed they were on a small section of the palace's roof that was slightly higher than the rest of it. Its positioning made it so no one from below could see you unless you were standing at the edge.

Sakura had recently been staying at the ladies academia near the palace, Itachi had knocked on the window of her bedroom and gotten her to come out onto her balcony. It was the middle of the night and she should have been sleeping. Not only that but her teachers and mother would be furious with her to know that she'd be so disgraceful as to sneak out with a man.

"I-Itachi I have to get back soon," Sakura told him as he sat down next to her on the blanket he had laid out. Itachi simply put one of his arms around her and leaned her upper body to his, placing her head on his chest.

"Relax." His voice was soft and he was rubbing his hand up and down her arm. Sakura slowly untucked her legs from beneath her but kept her hands on her lap. Itachi suddenly sighed and she gasped as he laid back down onto the roof, bringing her down with him. Her head ended up on his shoulder and her upper body was pressed to his, with one of her legs on top of his.

"Look at the stars. You can see them quite clearly from here." Stargazing was always something she had enjoyed and was surprised he knew. Sakura moved her gaze from his face and looked up into the sky to find that he was right. They looked lovely from here. She relaxed a little and listened to Itachi's soft tenor as he told her a story. Sakura found herself placing one of her arms on Itachi's chest and her eyes began to lull.

On another occasion, Sakura was sitting in a plush seat in the courtyard. She was watching Itachi and some of his guard's spar. She was a bit embarrassed because Itachi wasn't the only man here and they were all shirtless. Other than that she was quite entranced with the fight.

They'd been in the middle of an intense moment when one of the guards sent the other's sword flying. Unfortunately, it came right at her. Sakura screamed and dove to the ground in her effort to avoid being decapitated. On instinct, her hands flew up to cradle her head.

Upon realizing she was still alive, she tentatively opened her eyes only to almost faint of fright as she realized the sword was embedded into the wall right above her. It had narrowly missed her head and would have surely killed her if she had moved a second too late.

Both guards came running and bowed to their waist in front of her shouting, "I'm so sorry!" One of them got closer and took the sword, bowing again and apologizing once more. Shaking, she sat back down into her seat. She tried to watch for a bit longer but left soon after, admittedly terrified.

Sakura never saw the way Itachi had eyed the two guards after their mistake. Nor the way he beat them and made an example of them after she was gone.
