Chapter 2: Our First Date

He had asked me something that night that I never thought he'd say. He asked me on a date. He told me that he thought I was beautiful and had an amazing personality. Of course I said yes. He said "How about Saturday at 7, I'll come pick you up and we can go to your favorite restaurant, which is?" "Oh! Um I really don't have one, any pizza place, it's my favorite food." When I said that I had such butterflies, I felt like I was going to throw up. "Ok! 7 on Saturday at New York Pizza Palace." he said, he sounded so calm. I could never be that calm.

As I was getting I kept going red in the face just thinking about him. He's literally the boy of my dreams, like actually, I've dreamt about him. That sounds creepy, anyway, I ended up wearing a red dress with some black heels and fishnets. I threw in a leather jacket and I had my normal smudged winged eyeliner and all my jewelry. I guess you could say my style is more "alt, art girl" I don't know, I'm not good at naming things. Ok enough about me being stupid, I was so nervous. I could feel my legs shaking. Not- not like that but, I wish. I shouldn't have said that. Anyways...

I heard a car pull up and some people talking. I look out my window, which faces the front of the building and I'm only on the 3rd floor so I had a good view of the street. I saw a car there with two guys in front with shirts that say "Security Guard'' on the back. I started to gather my stuff, my phone, my wallet, and my sweater. I grabbed a tote bag that just so happened to have the lyrics to 'Flicker' on it. By far one of my favorite songs from the album. As I walked out I said bye to the apartment's local dog, Clifford. I know it's kinda weird because Louis dog is named Clifford but yeah. When I got outside to the black car, very tinted windows obviously so paps and fans don't attack Niall. "Hey!" Niall said, reaching his arms out for a hug. "Hi!" I said as I wrapped my arms around his muscular body, I could tell that he worked out recently. As we got into the car we just made small talk all the way there. And of course we listened to his albums all the way there, what can I say Niall is his biggest fan, well besides me of course. When we got there we had to go in through the back because somehow a fan caught a glimpse of Niall and tweeted about it so crowds were starting. Going through the back gave me 'Night Changes' vibes. Of course I didn't say that because I didn't want to get awkward.

"So, what kind of pizza do you like? He asked, looking at the menu. "I'd definitely say either taco pizza or just an original, peperoni." I said, smiling. "Peperoni is so good. Like everyone shames it but I think it's great." He said, laughing. After eating and talking, 2 hours had past. "Hey, do you want to go back to my hotel and maybe watch a movie or just hang out, I don't know if the boys will be there but if they are I'll just kick them out." When he said that my heart dropped, I swear it dropped out of my ass. "Oh, uh, yeah!" I said, blushing. I never thought I would be going back to Niall Horans hotel room and possibly meet the rest of the boys.

On our way there he asked me to play my playlist that I normally listen to, so I turned it on shuffle. It was mostly One Direction and solo. He didn't seem to have a problem with that, he was dancing the whole time and we were just screaming the lyrics. I felt bad for the driver. When we got there we ran in as fast as we could because we could see a crowd coming toward the hotel. As we walked to the elevator I heard a yell and it sounded really familiar, I looked over and Louis is fighting with Liam about God knows what. "Mate, there's no way you can do that!" Louis screamed. I swear his wonderful voice was echoing all throughout the hotel. "Well, for your information Louis I can swallow a grape whole!" Liam screamed back, but also laughing his ass off. When I heard that I just started laughing so loud. Before I knew it Louis and Liam were walking up to me and Niall, we stepped to the side to get out of the way of the elevator. "Ohh, Niall who's this?" Louis asked, nudging him with a huge smile on his face. "Ok well first off before I say anything, I think Liam can swallow a grape whole...." Niall said. "OH YOU LITTLE SHIT!" Louis said, almost about to attack Niall. "Ok ok, calm down Louis. This is Nova. We were on our way back up to the room to go watch a movie and have a few drinks." Niall said. "Oh, so this is like a date?" asked Liam. "Ye- Yeah" When Niall said that my heart got so happy, and the fact that I was in front of Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, two of the five people who saved me and made me the happiest girl in the world. "Nice going Nialler! You better treat her good." Louis said, glaring at him. "I will, she's beautiful." Niall said, looking me in the eyes, My heart was beating so fast, I knew I was actually falling for him, not as a fan like as a human. "Well, we're off to the room, oh and where is Harry?" Niall asked. "I think he's in the room, working on some song but he says he doesn't want us to know about it so don't bother him I guess." Liam said, hinting to Louis to walk away. "Ok, thanks lads, don't cause too much trouble, it's getting late and I know how loud you guys can be." Niall said, pushing the elevator button. "Oh shut up mate, you know you're just as loud." Louis said, heading to the bar.

Once we went into the room, I saw Harry sitting on one of the beds writing in his journal. "Hey Harold!" Niall said, laughing. "Hi Niall, how was the date?" Harry asked, closing his journal. "Well, I thought it went well and was plenty of fun." Niall said "What do you think Nova?" he asked me. "Absolute fun, best date I've ever been on." I said, smiling from ear to ear. "That's wonderful! Well I'm going to go into the other room because I have a feeling you guys want to be alone, so have fun!" Harry said, picking up his journal and laptop and heading to the other room, closing the door. "Well, I am glad to know that you enjoyed our date." Niall said as we sat on the bed. "How could I not, you're perfect." I said. "Thanks darling, right back at you." He said, smiling. I got so shy when he called me darling. That's the first nickname he has called me. "So, movie?" he asked as he got comfortable. "Oh, uh, yes!" I said. "How about Scream, I love horror movies?" he asked. "Sure, sounds great!" I said, taking my shoes off. When I looked back onto the bed he had a blanket and his arms open. He wanted to cuddle, so I layed down, with all these butterflies in my stomach, and snuggled up against his chest. He was so warm and comfy. I didn't want to leave his embrace. I felt so safe and so loved. He is amazing.

After the movie was over, we made our way back down to the bar. Louis and Liam had obviously had a few drinks, I could see Zayn lying on a couch in the lounge. "Hey Zayn! What's up lad?" said Niall, walking over to him. "Hey mate, how is the date?" Zayn talked so calmly, almost kind of sad. I knew management doesn't treat them well so I assumed it was something they said. "Great, just watched Scream, I'll give you ten dollars for everytime Nova screamed. You'd be rich" Niall said, grinding. "Hey!" I said, laughing. "That's great guys, well sorry for the short talk but I'm going back up to the room to try and get some sleep before tomorrow." Zayn said, getting up to go to the elevator. "Ok. See ya later." Niall said. "Hey Niall?" I asked, looking at him. "Yes?" he said. "Um, it's getting kind of late." I said, sadly. "Yeah, you're right, I don't want this night to end but I know you have work tomorrow so lets get you home ok?" he said. Sooner or later we were almost to my house, we had taken the same car before. This time we snuck past the huge crowd of Directioners. When we got there he walked to the front door of the apartment sign in. "Tonight was amazing Nova, I hope we can do it again soon, I'll be in New York for a couple weeks, we're working on some new songs." he said. "Yes, that would be amazing! Can't wait to hear the songs!" I said, smiling. "Alight, well I'll text you. Goodnight, stay safe, I know these New York men are pretty crazy. Bye, darling." Niall said, walking to the car.

When I got into my apartment I screamed at the top of my lungs. My neighbors probably think I am crazy, but if they knew what just happened they'd be freaking out too. My heart was beating so fast, so much adrenaline going through my body. I was shaking, hoping that was normal. I called Anna and told her everything. "OMG! 'DARLING'! THAT'S SO CUTE!" she was screaming. "I KNOW! I NEVER THOUGHT I'D GO ON A DATE WITH HIM, HE'S NIALL FREAKING HORAN." I said screaming back. "Wait so do you want this to get serious?" Anna asked me, she sounded somewhat worried. "I mean yeah, he's everything I love in a person. He has a wonderful soul." I replied. "You're right, well I'm headed to bed, goodnight Nova" Anna said, about to hang up. "Goodight Anna." I said, hanging up before she could.

As I got ready for bed, all I could think about was Niall and how he said he wouldn't hurt me. I trust him and I hope I always can. Lying in bed, thinking about how hard the long distance might be I just tried to think positive about him being here for a few weeks. It was getting late, about 1 am, so I decided to sleep on it. But overall I had the most fun in my life with him, and I could see a future.
