I jumped out of bed as I woke up. I didn't spare any time looking around as I ran to my mirror and stared at myself. I had a horrible dream that I was a small, ginger volleyball player who got stuck in a killing game, but as a looked around, I realized that only half of it was a dream. This wasn't my room but I was still me. Kageyama Tobio, The Ultimate Detective. If I had to guess, our point of views were somehow swapped in our sleep, causing us to remember both our memories and each other's. I decided to wash up and visit the one who's memories were swapped with mine though he may still be a little shaken up from Ushijima-kun's execution. It was pretty brutal if I do say so myself.

After we pressured him to admit the truth, we had to vote. Of course, we all voted for Ushijima-kun. Then, he got dragged into a stadium, foot chained to the ground, and red cloth in hand. I already knew what was about to happen at that moment in time. We eventually witnessed hundreds of exspasterated bulls rushing towards the culprit. One by one, they stampeded over him until one unleashed the final blow, sinking it's lengthy horns into Ushijima-kun's chest, killing him almost instantly. He fell to the floor one last time and took his final breath.

My first instinct was to look over at Shimizu. She didn't look away from the ugly sight infront of her, though she shed a few tears. They didn't really present themselves as tears of sorrow, but more like a message. Something along the lines of "I have avenged you."

It was quite a night. I think I speak for everyone here at Hopes Peak when I say that we'll prevent anything like that from ever happening again. I made my way to the ginger's dormitory and knocked on his door waiting for a reply. A few seconds later, I heard the door unlock and the latter stood before me.

"Good morning, Kageyama-kun!"

He said it so enthusiastically like nothing ever happened. Like he didn't remember the misery and despair that filled this school from corner to corner. He was a ray of sunshine reincarnated into a human being.

"What brings you here so early?" He asked.

"I just wanted to know if anything weird happened to you. Maybe... A memory swap?"

"Hm... That's oddly specific. To answer your question, yes, that has happened to me. I somehow had your memories stuck in my head with my own. I woke up today and I was me!"

"Thank you, Hinata-kun. I have other things to get to, so I'll be on my way."

"Okay, Kageyama-kun! See you around!"

With that I left. I lied that I had stuff to do. In reality, there was someone I wanted to check up on. The person who I think was most affected by last night's incident.

"Hello, Shimizu. May I come in?"

"Oh, Tobio... Yeah, sure..."

We both took a seat on her bed. Just a quick glance and I was already intrigued by the aesthetic of her room. Majority of it was a dark shade of violet-which I assumed was her favorite color-along with white accessories. The brightness of the room made it look bigger and welcoming. There was one thing that really stood out which was a singular flower. It was a baby blue anemone that sat in a simple, yet elegant vase.

"It's from Tohru..." She mumbled clear enough for me to hear.

She fidgeted with the cuffs of her pajama top as she avoided my gaze. I assumed she was talking about the flower. She must've caught me eyeing it and noictied how it interested me.

"He gave it to me to cheer me up when we arrived here..."

Comfort was not really my thing. I was hardly comforted myself and I was never really dedicated to protecting anyone from somber emotions. I decided on speaking from the bottom of my heart and doing everything in my power to be there for her.

"Y'know... I didn't know Oikawa-san as well as you did, but from the impression I had if him, I could tell he really cared for you. I bet he's really proud of you for staying strong and persevering through this mess."

I grabbed her hand and took a deep breath hoping my plan wouldn't backfire.

"He'll always be watching over you. You just need to live on for him, so we can reward him the funeral he deserves."

I saw Shimizu bite her bottom lip and hang her head down. It was a poor attempt at holding back the tears that were begging to be let free. Eventually, she gave in and jumped onto me. I wrapped my arms around her in shock as she soaked my shirt with her endless tears. I played with her hair and refused to let go until she felt better. We stayed like this until Monokuma's morning announcement finally arrived. That's when we knew we had no choice but to get ready and leave. I was already prepared, but I couldn't say the same for Shimizu. I stepped out of her room, allowing her to get ready.

She finally exited her room looking stunning as ever, so we started towards the dining hall where we expected to meet everyone. We only saw a few, but due to it only being 7:10 am, we let it pass. Our meet up time was 7:30 am anyways.

Once everyone finally arrived, we all took our seats and began discusses statistics and strategies.

"First things first." Terushima-san said.

"Who's 'gonna make breakfast? We can't think if we're starved."

"Tsuki and I could take care of our meals from now on!" Yamaguchi spoke up.

Based on the information I gathered watching those two, I coudlt deduct wether this was them helping out or an excuse for them to get some alone timez but I agreed regardless. No one else was volenteering, so I didn't have much of a choice. The two boys left towards the kitchen as the rest of us talked, not daring to bring up last night's incident.

Half an hour later and all the food is finally on the table. We all thank Yamaguchi-kun and Tsukishima-kun for the meal and dig in. It was supprisingly delicious. I expected more salt in Tsukishima-kun's dishes, but overall, the food was great and I was glad I let them take charge in the kitchen. They're definitely two people I would like to keep around. A little more on than the other though. That also reminded me that I needed to start talking to the other students here. These people are supposedly my classmates and my allies, so I should stay on their good side and try to build a relationship with them. Some people have already been working on that. Nishinoya-san and Tanaka-san have gotten close along with Kozume-san, Kuroo-san, Bokuto-san, and Akaashi-san. After the meal, I decided to pay a visit to The Ultimate Shonen Manga Editor.

"Hello, Akaashi-san. May I come in?" I said as I respectfully bowed.

I was pretty sure that Akaashi-san was one of my many senpai's here. I myself was actually a first year and I was probably the youngest due to being born late December.

"Oh, yeah, of course! And please, drop the formality. We're bound to be more than aquaintences sooner or later."

I assumed he was talking about the fact that we'd be stuck in this school for a while and walked in as I heard the door lock behind me.

"Sorry." He said with a grin on his face.

"Just taking safety precautions."

I looked around his room, and his too was decorated with stuff he managed to gather. His room was decorated a pale, yet dark shade of indigo. In a way, it suited his aesthetic and his personality almost perfectly.

"What bring you here?" He said out of curiosity.

"I was just looking for a way to waste time and I wanted to converse with you. You seemed like the type I'd normally associate with so I figured I'd get to know you a little better."

We talked for what seemed to be two hours before we were all called down by Monokuma to meet in the gymnasium. I already knew by intuition that this wasn't going to be good.

Once Akaashi and I made it to our destination, Monokuma jumped onto the stage with a bin next to him.

What was he up to this time?
