Jordan had been distant recently like he was guilty of something, I ignored it and started working on a recipe for some skincare products. But, right now I was at a eating lounge with Olivia and Leila.
"Wait, earlier you were right, Jordan has been distant" Olivia sipped her lemonade
"From family, that's not like him" I turned the page on my notebook
"Yea, last night he didn't come home till 2am" Olivia sat up straight
"Don't worry about him homecoming is soon and so is my party" Leila frantically said
"Calm down, we made the playlist and Asher and JJ are decorating the gym" I calmed her down
"Yea, but this is senior year, it has to be perfect" She sank into her seat
"And it will be, hey let's go shopping my families at the mall right now" Olivia stood up
"Ok let's go" I grabbed my keys
At the mall
"Hi mom" Olivia hugged her mom
"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Baker" Leila waved
"Hey everyone, hey Jordan" I looked up at Jordan
"Huh, hey Constance" He waved looking sweaty
"Babe, you ok" I touched his heated forehead
"Yeah I'm fine, just excited for homecoming" He wiped his hands on his shirt
"Oh, ok" I set my hand on his shoulder
"Hey, will you go to ho-" I cut him off
"Jordan, we're dating, that was dumb" I laughed making him smile
"Hey, girls there's a dress shop here" Billie pointed out
Liv, Leila, and I all walked inside and I instantly saw the dress I wanted, Leila said she had a dress at home, and Liv grabbed this cute purple dress. Before we left Leila stopped us.
"Nevermind, he is acting weird, he's talking to that Malibu cheerleader" Leila pointed to Jordan and Ripley talking like they were dating
"Oh, her I remember her what her name" I look at her face
"Um, Riptide or something" Olivia thought
"Yea, something like that, Oh it's Ripley, I remember I broke her nose" I snap my fingers
"Woah, anyways let's go" Leila laughed
"Oh, baby" Jordan came up to me
"Jordan" I walk into the store they were at
"Look, your product" Billie pointed to my essentials oils I made
"Omg, omg" I breathe
"Yeah it's cool, I'm sure Riptide would like to hear about it" Olivia rolled her eyes at Jordan
"Riptide?, who's that's, what's that, where's that" Jordan squinted his eyes
"Don't worry about it" Leila shrugged ignored him
"Um, ok" He walks away
"Hey, I'm gonna Asher" Leila walked around the corner
"Do you think he did" I pouted
"Did wh-, oh he had to at least kiss her" Olivia hugs me
"I thought he loved me" I hug her bag
"He does, he's just not him right now" Leila joins the hug
"Either that or he's still a dick" Olivia breaks the hug
"Way to lift spirits Baker" I laugh
