Silas and Salem were exactly like their parents. Silas was a mommas boy and Salem was a daddy's girl. Silas was chill and liked to just relax but, Salem was sassy and energetic, kinda like JJ. Salem loved hanging around Leila and Camden meanwhile Silas liked just being around Darnell. When Salem hung out with JJ she hated for any woman to be around him except her. Silas and Camden were always chill. Although they both liked playing football, Jordan played football with them all the time but, besides playing football Salem liked baking recipes from YouTube with Jordan and Silas loves to paint with me. "Did you just wanna stand out" I laughed at Jordan as we sat down outside at another one of Mrs. James cookouts "I don't know maybe" He smiled as he fed Silas some chicken "Hey come over here" Leila yelled over at a table causing us to move our little family party to the table there "Hey guys, and girls" Jordan sat down "Hey, do y'all know where we're at" Patience smiles
"The home of Grace James" Jordan shrugged eating some of Silas and Salem's food "No, stupid this is where we first met" I reminded him "Oh yeah, this is where it all started" Jordan put Salem in his lap "We lost some friends" Olivia looked at an old text from Asher "And gained some new ones" Leila held Camden's hand "It's still Carter sisters and Dillon against the world right" Dillon interrupted "Yup" Patience and I laughed at him "About 5 or 6 years ago I first met you over in that chair" Jordan pointed to a chair where my dad was sitting
"Oh yeah" Dillon's smile faded "What's wrong Dills" JJ asked Dillon "I just realized that, we're never gonna be able to be us again" He sat down "Your right, Jordan and Constance are married and have kids" Camden pointed out "Asher betrayed us and now he's gone" Olivia added
"We're all getting older" Spencer finished "Do y'all still think it's gonna be fun" Coop asked "What do you mean it" Jordan looked at her "Us, life we're gonna be getting older" Coop explained "It can only be as fun as life will let it be" Patience answered as the twins ran an played "Hey do y'all remember how y'all ran away to get married" Camden laughed "Yeah, and do you remember how Jordan and JJ got into that fight" Leila pointed out next
"Oh yeah, and remember how Constance rocked Kiras shit" Spencer cackled "Guys" Liv whispered "Yeah" Jordan answered to his sister "I wanna cry" She said "Why" Darnell asked "Because nothings gonna be the same anymore, no more adrenaline rushes, and the only adrenaline rush Con and Jordan will have is when the twins do something bad" Olivia cried and laughed as we all joined her crying
"Hey, the kids are coming back stop crying" Camden sniffed "Mommy what's this" Salem handed me something. I looked through it. It was a book it had pictures of everything my friends and I did throughout our teenage years from when we first met. Everyone started crying and we all hugged each other. "This is the story of my life" I smiled in tears "Our life" I corrected myself looking at all my friends "I'm gonna miss those days" Darnell laughed "Me too" Liv whispered
"Oh god I'm sorry babies" I kissed the kids "Uncle JJ has a date I gotta go" JJ wiped his tears "Don't go" Salem stopped him "Why not" JJ laughed "No dates" She sternly demanded "Alright Constance Jr. how about I cancel and we get ice cream" JJ suggested picking her up "Yeah" She agreed as we left
"Daddy are you ok" Silas asked "I'm great kiddo" Jordan picked him up as they went and played mermaids "Well, we're still us girls right" Leila brought us into a group hug "Hell yeah bitch" Patience dryer her tears "Hey let's drink" I laughed "I feel like a teen again already" Olivia laughed "No an adult" Coop corrected "Huh" They looked at me crazy "Honestly sometimes you just gotta Grow Up" Coop shrugged "Not today bitch" I threw liquor on her as we all laughed
