"GOOD MORNING, MY precious Minha!" Ningning enters the classroom with a bright smile plastered on her face. "Mondays suck, don't they?" The Chinese girl pouted and sat beside her.

"Tell me about it." Minha rolled her eyes and sighed, bringing her hand up to brush her hair out of her face. "Oh my god, I take back what I said. Mondays don't suck." Ningning suddenly squeals which made Minha look at her questionably.

"The fuck? Sweetie, I love you and all but is there something wrong with your brain? Mondays are the worst." Minha said and cupped Ningning's face, making her pout.

"Today is Chenle's basketball game! It's the start of sports week!"

Minha's eyes suddenly widened. "Oh shit, that was today?"

"Yes!"

Minha facepalmed. I totally forgot.

"Minha, what happened to your hand?" Ningning gazed at her hand filled with plasters, making the Korean girl internally panic.

I don't want her to worry about me.

Minha scoffed at her own thought. You just don't want her to think that you're pathetic.

"That dumbass injured herself at the arcade yesterday." A deep voice said from behind making the two girls flinch in surprise.

"What the fuck Park Jisung! Don't scare us like that!" Minha said with a hand on her chest.

"Minha, I love you and all but girl, be careful next time. You are a clumsy one." Ningning cupped her face with a pout.

"You planning to stay on my seat?" Jisung said, his eyes glaring at Ningning with one arm on his bag's sling and another resting in his pocket. Ningning chuckled nervously.

"Hehe, sorry." Ningning smiled at Minha before scooting off to her seat.

"Tsk, you didn't have to be rude you know." Minha scoffed at the dark haired boy who put on his airpods and hood.

Huh, I can't believe this guy.

But even before Minha could rant about his rudeness in her head, the memories of him stuttering and helping her clean her wounds appeared. She smiled to herself. After all, he did save her from Ningning's curiosity.

She tapped his shoulder but the boy didn't budge.

It's Monay morning, what the hell does she want now? Jisung thought, but decided to ignore the girl as his favorite song was playing.

Minha pouted and huffed before taking both his earphones off resulting the boy to explode.

"Yah! Justin Beiber was playing!" Jisung exclaimed at the girl who blinked in confusion before putting on the earphones.

And I was like, Baby, baby, baby, ohh~

"Holy shit, you still listen to Baby?" She tried to hold in her laughter but she couldn't help it, she released her laughter.

"Baby, baby, baby, nooo~" she sang and danced, teasing the boy who had his palms on his face, fighting the urge to strangle the girl.

"Yah Park Jisung."

He looked at her direction only to see her smiling widely, her white pearls and cute dimples on display.

Dug dug

"W-what do you want?" He said, looking away to avoid her gaze. "There it is, Ladies and Gents! Stuttering Park Jisung!" She exclaimed then laughed once again.

"For fuck's sake, Choi Minha!" He wrapped his arm around her neck, putting the girl in a headlock. But of course, he was careful not to hurt her.

Minha, on the other hand, was still laughing. She found it cute. His music taste didn't suit his scary face. But then again, the scary Jisung wasn't the real Jisung. And she knew that.

"Baby, baby, baby ohh~" she continued to sing and looked up to see the Jisung's reaction- wrong move.

Their faces were inches apart. Minha stopped laughing and Jisung was now staring. Minha gulped, she didn't know why but her heart started to beat fast.

Jisung was only a friend, heck she wasn't even sure if he thought the same way. After all, Jisung was a closed book. The staring contest came to a halt when the teacher walked in.

"Announcements!"

Jisung released the girl from his arms and cleared his throat, his eyes avoiding hers.

"As we all know that today will be the start of sports week. Later this afternoon, the basketball team will be competing against Hypen Academy from Daegu."

Daegu? Minha started to grow nervous as the city where her nightmares took place was mentioned. She didn't want to remember but then again it haunted her.

She was scared. Scared to see someone from her past that might cause her to go haywire once again.

Jisung glanced at the girl who was unknowingly shaking. Her hands trembled above her lap and she bit her lip unconsciously.

Is she okay? She was all loud and rowdy teasing me awhile ago... He though, debating if he should ask her if she was okay or just leave her be.

Shit, did I do something wrong? You know what, screw it.

He slowly lifted his hand from his pocket and poked the girl by her shoulders. That made her snap out of it.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, his voice gentle and soft which made the girl calm down. "Yeah, I'm fine. I always am." She smiled. But he knew all too well that she was lying.

"Are you sure? You can talk to me, I already told you that." He said making the girl blink in surprise.

And that's the real Jisung. She thought before smiling at herself.

"It's just memories are-"

Before she could even continue, the teacher butted in. "The Mayor Park would also be present since he is the one who sponsors this school. I expect all of you to be in your best behavior."

Now it was Jisung's turn. His turn to be consumed in his own thoughts... his own memories.

Minha noticed the boy's gloomy expression. "Jisung, are you okay?" She asked him with concern. He became a puzzle to her.

One minute he looked concerned and caring, soft even. And then next, he looked... lifeless. His eyes dark and a smile nowhere to be seen.

"Hey, you okay?" She asked him once again making him look at her.

"Piss off, of course I'm okay. I always am." He said and scoffed before putting his hood back on. Minha bit her lip. His eyes said the opposite. He wasn't okay. She knew that.

Park Jisung. We surprisingly have a lot in common.
