"I'M SORRY, ANGEL." Those were the first words that came out of Jisung's mouth as he bit his lower lip and looked down, feeling guilty of putting her in a tight situation. He knew that it was not right to tell her friends about her past boyfriend, he spoke out of turn.

Minha, on the other hand, stayed silent— her thoughts were the one speaking. All kinds of scenarios, questions ran into her head.

Was she mad at Jisung? Was she mad at Chenle? Will they think badly of her if she tells them? Will they pity her?

She sighed and plopped down the freshly cut grass, her gaze up in the bright afternoon sky. She closed her eyes, feeling the soft wind that blew against her skin.

Jisung looked at her and did the same— taking off his jacket and put it on her lap, covering her legs as she was still wearing the school skirt. Minha smiled at the action.

"Thank you." She mumbled before softly sighing.

There, the two teenagers laid down against the green grass in Hangang Park, their shoulders just an inch away from each other. They didn't speak, they just felt each other's presence— and that alone comforted them.

"Jisung-ah." Minha softly spoke before looking at her left, where the said boy laid down with his left arm below his head for support.

"Hm?" Jisung hummed in response, head tilting to the side to look at the girl. Minha smiled at him before looking at the sky once again.

"You don't have to be sorry. I know you meant well. I guess I was just scared of how they will think of me if they knew the truth." She said before pursing her lips into a small smile.

Jisung frowned at her statement, his eyes not leaving her face.

"Minha, they're your friends. They won't think of you badly. Deep down, you know that. I know you do. They're your friends for a reason, angel. They care for you. The least you can do is trust them." He said making Minha look at him.

"They'll still accept me right? If they knew the truth about my father? They won't think it's my fault?" She asked, her voice small as the thought of her friends blaming her messed with her mind.

Jisung smiled at her, his black eyes gazing her brown ones as he tucked his left hand over her head, his right hand on her shoulders as he pulled the girl into his embrace, Minha's head meeting his chest.

The girl smiled at the gesture as her arms snuggled around his torso, bringing him closer to her.

"When you told me about your father and that jerk, I didn't think of you differently didn't I? You're still the same stubborn, smiley Minha that I know." She chuckled against his chest making Jisung smile.

"You're strong, angel. But you trap yourself in your past, not being able to move forward. Telling your friends your past might just be a step forward to moving on." He said whilst caressing her hair as she thought about his words.

"Pain makes you stronger, they say. You're already broken enough, don't break yourself any further."

"How about you Jisung, aren't you broken too?" Her question made him chuckle dryly.

"Maybe. Just a missing piece with lots of scars, I guess." Minha knew what he was referring to. "Your sister will come around soon, I know she will."

"And your father... he can go to hell." Jisung chuckled before placing a kiss on the crown of her head making Minha blush at the contact of his lips.

They stayed in that position, all cuddled up with Jisung's jacket as her blanket and his arm as her pillow. Minha thought about it, about what Jisung said.

"Jisung, you're right. Maybe I should tell them. If they leave me then, they're aren't real friends right?" She asked and looked at him who only looked back at her with a smile on his face.

"Yes, angel. So are you ready to let go?"

She mirrored his smile, and as usual, her eyes turned into crescents and Jisung's heart fluttered. Her eye smile was his weakness.

"I am." She nodded.

"So much for being just friends now, huh?" A familiar female voice spoke teasingly causing the two entangled teenagers to jolt up only to see everyone present.

"Guys! What are you doing here?!" Minha exclaimed, her cheeks red from embarrassment.

"We looked for you everywhere to check if you were okay, you looked troubled back there." Jaemin said and sat beside Minha, patting her head.

"But I guess you're okay. Considering that you were basically cuddling this tall ass giraffe." Renjun teased before sitting down on the grass as well, everyone joining in as they formed a circle.

Jisung softly smiled and blushed at the word 'cuddle' but soon put on a straight face as Donghyuck was looking at him teasingly.

"But in all seriousness, are you okay Minha?" Jeno asked, changing the atmosphere into a solemn one.

"Guys, I uh..." she nervously started, her fingers fidgeting once again to which Jisung noticed, placing a hand on hers.

She looked at him as he smiled, his eyes speaking to her. She didn't need words to comfort her. One look at his eyes and she knew what he was trying to say.

"You can do it."

She inhaled deeply before looking at her friends. "Guys, promise me. You won't leave me okay?" She said making the others playfully scoff.

"You can't get rid if us Choi. No matter how much you try. We'll be here to annoy your ass whether you like it or not." Donghyuck smirked making the others nod and softly laugh.

Jisung chuckled as his heart warmed at the sight of the girl and her friends— well could be his friends now.

You've got real friends here, angel. He thought as he smiled warmly as he looked around the circle.

You're missing this noona. Your little brother is in a circle of friends, can you believe it? He sadly smiled before focusing his attention back on the girl.

"If I'm going to tell you, then I shall start from the top."

"What do you mean the file is gone?! Both files are gone?!" The man shouted against the phone, his hand slamming against his table causing the white powdered substance to scatter away.

"Shit!" He pulled his hair in frustration, screaming as his blood boiled up.

"FIND THOSE FILES OR I WILL KILL YOU! FUCKING FIND THEM!"
