KuboKai Oneshots bc yuh-

Warmth

Before this starts, I'd like to say that I apologize for any errors or cringe moments. Other than that please enjoy the first oneshot of many!

It's winter, which means it's cold but today was freezing. Way colder than it usually was. When Kaidou stepped outside he was freezing, he didn't have any other winter clothes to layer with so he'll just have to bear with it. Kuboyasu on the other hand wasn't really bothered, he was content with the clothes he had. The two boys met up to walk to school with each other just like they did every other day.

"Shun, are you cold?" asked Kuboyasu abruptly.

"Huh? I'm fine! Really.." said the smaller boy who was shivering as he spoke.

Kuboyasu stared for a moment and said, "Well let's hurry to school so you don't have to stay in the cold much longer." He then took Kaidou's hand and basically dragged him to school. Kaidou didn't say anything but was very flustered at the fact Kuboyasu was holding his hand, he did have a big crush on him after all. Anyways, they reach the school building and enter their homeroom class.

"Are you still cold, Shun? It should be warmer now that we're in school," said Kuboyasu.

"Uhh, well my hands are still a bit cold...maybe you cold hold them a bit longer..." Kaidou muttered. 

The two stood in silence for a moment, Kaidou who had realized what he just said was dying inside and couldn't believe he said that. Kuboyasu was shocked a bit, he didn't expect Kaidou to say something like that to him but he was also happy because he really did want to hold Kaidou's hands.

"Well, I wouldn't mind holding your hands," Kuboyasu said while chuckling.

"Wait, I- you don't have to," was the only thing that made sense from Kaidou because the rest of what he said was incoherent.

"No I insist, it'll be fine, okay," Kuboyasu said while pulling his gloves off, he then grabbed both of Kaidou's hands, rubbing them slightly and pressing them together. Kaidou had noticed Kuboyasu's hands were very warm and big compared to his. He was concerned that Kuboyasu had taken off his gloves though.

"You're wondering why I took my gloves off aren't you?" asked the other boy as if reading Kaidou's mind, "Don't worry, the cold weather doesn't bother me much," With that, Kaidou felt less worried, he decided to put Kuboyasu's hands on his own face, out of impulse of course. He just couldn't help it, Kuboyasu's hands were just so warm. Kuboyasu became very flustered and he got warmer, he wasn't prepared for this.

"Woah! Your hands got warmer, Aren!" exclaimed Kaidou. This only flustered Kuboyasu more, he liked the situation though. The way Kaidou's face fit into his hands was perfect, he didn't mind how cold Kaidou's skin was he just wanted to enjoy the moment. But he also wanted to try something...

"Hey, Aren-" Kaidou said before getting cut off by Kuboyasu. Kuboyasu had put his face to Kaidou's and kissed his forehead before moving his face back again, acting as though he didn't do what he just did. This caused the smaller boy to start babbling and turn as red as the scarf he was wearing. That made Kuboyasu smile, he removed his hands from the smaller boy's face and grabbed his hands again.

"Calm down, Shun. We need you in working condition, how else will you defeat the dark reunion."

"You're right, the world needs the Jet Black Wings!"

And just like that, Kaidou was back to normal, he just started going on about the dark reunion while Kuboyasu held his hands and listened.
