Hello this will be a longer chapter
We stepped out of the motel room i felt the soft winds of the morning breeze on on my face. I watched as a little bird flew across the sky. I remembered the time when a bird flew into the kitchen when mama was making breakfast. I looked over at Keith, he was looking up at the sky though it was hard to pin point exactly what he was looking at. He looked at me quickly and said "well let's get going."
We walked over to the car and Keith got in the drivers seat. I did not argue with him considering I spent 8 hours driving yesterday. He messed around with the seat for a few minutes. "Hey lance um where is the wedding taking place?" "Oh um California I think."
When I said that I think he got a little mad. "Lance I used to live in California. It takes like two days to get there from New York. So why did we leave early."
I had no idea um I gotta thing of an excuse. "Because my family wants to get to know you before the wedding, they made it very clear."
He just nodded and started the car. He had been driving for 20 minutes when I asked him "so why did you move away from California?" It was probably not the best way to start a conversation but what ever. " because of school." He answered not saying anything else. I had a feeling it was more then that.
I was about to say something else when his phone began buzzing. He took it out of his pocket and said " it's pidge." He answered it and all I could hear was screaming. It stopped and they began rambling. "OK KEITH SO I JUST GOT OUT OF CLASS AND I WENT TO THE BATHROOM RIGHT. WHEN I WALK IN I SEE TWO LESBIANS JUST GOING AT IT, AND THERE FRIEND WAS RECORDING AND VAPING AT THE SAME TIME. I JUST STARTED LAUGHING." Pidge yelled through the phone.
I looked at Keith then at his phone the him. We both burst out laughing. Pidge was yelling at us to answer but we didn't so they just hung up.
