After his sudden disappearance, Emilia was panicking, where did her fiance go? What happened to him? And is he alright?
"Emilia, calm down." Said her father-figure of a spirit. "I'm sure he's safe." Puck continues to calm her down.
"But what if he isn't!?" She replied, not calming down one bit.
"Please calm down Emilia-sama, I'm sure Natsuki-sama is alright." Crusch said, holding the half-elf's shoulder.
"Ye'h, Natsuki-kun is fine, stop worryin' so much." Anastasia added, as she looks at the papers she has.
"Emilia-san, as much as I like to have a say on the matter, I'm sure Natsuki-san can handle himself wherever he is right now." Otto said, as he helped the queen to calm down.
"Y'eh! Cap'n 's fine princess, probably makin' his way back now." Garfiel added.
"Emilia-sama, Rem is sure Subaru-kun is alright." Rem joins in in calming down the half-elf queen.
"I know I know he'll be fine, it's just... Gets himself into trouble like the dunderhead he is." Emilia reasons out.
And it did make sense to them. Subaru was the type of person to get himself into trouble. Yet again he does get out of those situations either with no scratches, or he is badly injured.
"..." They were left to silence.
"Yeah, does sound like Natsuki-san alright." Otto agreed, as now everyone in the rooms shares the same sentiment.
"Still, Natsuki-sama always finds ways to get out of trouble." Frederica said, as her little subordinate nodded along.
"Barusu may be an idiot, but he is a man of perfect timing. Rest assured Emilia-sama, Barusu is fine." Ram added.
"Alright then, I chose to trust you, but we still need to find him." She said to which everyone did agree.
Suddenly, Reinhard enters the room, door swinging wide open with Julius and Felix in tow, carrying a sack.
"Sorry for the intrusion but this is urgent news!" Reinhard said as he entered the room.
"Yes what is it, Reinhard?" Emilia asks, "And what are Julius and Felix carrying?" She added as she noticed the strange sack.
"Well, first and foremost Emilia-sama, we somehow managed to kill Pandora." He said, as Julius and Felix opened, the stinky ass sack. Inside were the remains of the Witch of Vainglory.
"Somehow we managed to kill her, unlike before." He added. Due to previous encounters with the witch before, they experienced the same thing when Emilia was younger. But now either because of the sword or she had lost her will to live is up to debate.
Emilia, who hated the witch for her entire life, had a wide smile on her face.
"Great!" She yelled in ecstasy. Never feeling this kind of joy. Well, it's the same level of joy being with Subaru, and about Subaru...
"Oh right, do you have any news where Subaru is!?" She asks, hoping the searching parties found him yet.
"Ah... About the whereabouts of Subaru, there are no reports of his current location.." Reinhard replied, sweat coming from his forehead.
Emilia's ecstasy was dashed. Even though Pandora was dead, Subaru is still missing and nowhere to be found.
"Did you ask the surrounding nations if they've seen him?" Emilia asks, her mood pulled back from earlier.
"Yes, and they've gathered their searching parties as well, only reports available are from Gutesko, and they said he is not within their borders." Julius replied.
