*3 years later*
Little Flippy was 3 years old now, and is fast asleep in bed one morning, having an amazing dream. He was dreaming that he was in the meadow where there were mountains, trees, bushes, flowers, and lots of sunshine. Little Flippy was walking through the forest until something caught his eye. He hid behind the bushes and what he saw surprised him. It was a beautiful alicorn eating grass in the meadow. She had pink coat, purple mane and tail, alicorn wings, and a alicorn horn on her head. Little Flippy walked slowly towards the animal and stood there silently. When she saw him for the first time, he was just standing there, not knowing what to say, as if he was a bit shy. The alicorn walked over to Little Flippy and stood in front of him. Little Flippy stuck his hand out and touched her and began to pet her, which she liked it. Little Flippy smiled at this and enjoyed his first time petting the animal.
Little Flippy smiles in his sleep as he dreamed about that, until he heard something.
"Psst." The voice says softly. "Pssst."
Little Flippy tries to ignore it and tries to get some sleep, but then, the voice whispering to him is almost catching his attention.
"Flippy." The voice whispers.
A hat was thrown onto Little Flippy softly, which woke him up. He opened his eyes and sat up from the bed.
"Huh?" He questions when he wakes up.
"Flips." That voice whispers again.
Little Flippy looks at the door and saw no one there, and was confused. But then, all of a sudden, someone pops out.
"BOO!" The person shouts in surprise.
Little Flippy gasps in shock at first, but he calms down and saw that it was only Zippy, his father.
"Dad!" Little Flippy said with a smile.
Zippy chuckles and sat next to his son in bed and pets his head.
"Hehehehe, good morning kiddo." Zippy spoke to his little boy.
"Morning dad." Little Flippy replies.
Zippy then shows his son his dog tag that has a picture on it.
"Gosh, do you remember taking this picture?" Zippy asked as Little Flippy looks at it.
"Uh-huh." Little Flippy answers.
The picture on his dog tag had Zippy, Little Angel, and Baby Flippy on it that was taken 3 years ago.
"I figured you wouldn't, you were just a cub." Zippy explained.
"Wow." Little Flippy said.
Zippy remembers what happened when Little Flippy was born and decided to tell him about it.
"Yep." Zippy sighs. "I came back home from the war after hearing about you being born at the hospital. At first they wouldn't let me go when I tried to tell them, but lucky for me, Goldhorn had my back, because he knows how important you are to me. And on my way home, I picked up your sister from school when she was 6 years old. And when we finally made it to the hospital, we saw your mother in her bed. And you...you were fast asleep in her arms like a peaceful little angel. That was the first time I saw you. And the next thing that happened just made my heart melt. You opened your cute little eyes and you just looked up at me and your sister and smiled."
After that story Zippy told him, little Flippy smiles at him, making his heart melt again.
"A-anyway Flips, I'm rambling." He spoke while wiping his tears away. "Let's say we go outside or something, huh?"
