*2 months later*
Mary and her two little angels were getting ready to go to the park today because of how nice the weather is today, the birds are singing, the sun is shining, and not a single drop of rain came by. Little Angel was very excited to go, and Little Flippy is happy about it a little, but he's still sad about how much he missed Zippy, and really wants him back so bad, Mary can tell, and so does her daughter. She saw this and walked over to Little Flippy, and knelt down next to her son, to try and comfort him.
"What's wrong my little mumpkin?" Mary asked.
Little Flippy didn't want to say anything, he just kept that worried look on his face, as he looks down at his dog tag, that Zippy gave to him 6 months ago.
"It's nothing mom." Little Flippy says sadly. "Except, I just miss my dad, I wish he was still here with us. Maybe if he didn't have to go, none of this would've happened, but it did."
Little Flippy choked a sob, Mary can tell that he was right. Mary wanted her husband back too, he was the reason why they were together forever, but without Zippy, some things might not be the same. But that didn't stop Mary from loving her children, she still cared for them both. Mary gently pulls Little Flippy into a soft hug as he snuggles against her chest while tears stream down his cheeks as he sniffed.
"It's okay to be sad honey, I miss him too, but you gotta know that he's in a better place now, I'll bet he's looking down at us from Heaven." Mary replies.
"What's Heaven?" Little Flippy asked.
"Heaven is like a city of angels, the most beautiful place from above earth, that's where good people go after they die." Little Angel explains.
"Oh." Little Flippy says.
"I'll bet your father is up there, and I'll bet he got to see his father there." Mary says.
"Yeah, me too, I really miss him." Little Flippy said, looking up at the ceiling.
Mary and Little Angel did the same, thinking that Zippy was in heaven, staring down at them and smiling from the sky. Then they look back at each other after a couple of seconds or so. Little Flippy felt a little better, but is still sad because of how much he really misses him.
"Hey, don't worry, why don't we head to the park, just like the doctor said, it might make you feel better." Mary says softly as she places her hand on his shoulder.
Little Flippy liked that idea, the doctor did say that the park is very calming, and might really help cheer him up. The little cub could never say no, so he slightly nodded to the answer.
"Um, okay..." Little Flippy says, wiping away his tears.
"Okay then, let's go!" Mary says happily.
"Yay, we're going to the park!" Little Angel excitedly says as Mary got up.
They walked out of the house, hopped in the car, and then were off to the park. Mary was sitting on the driver's seat in front, while her kids sat in the back seats. As they were going to the park, Little Flippy looks down at his dog tag, he sniffed and whimpered softly, and a single tear fell on the dog tag. Little Angel noticed this and gently rubbed his back to try and comfort him. Little Flippy smiled a bit, but is still depressed by the loss of his dad. Zippy was very kind and caring to his friends and family, but Little Flippy didn't want him to leave home. He just wish he was here, but now he's gone, much to his depression. Anyway, when they arrived at the park, Mary parks the car in one of the spots in the parking lot, and turns off her car.
"Alright kiddos, we're here." Mary says.
"Hooray!" Little Angel says excitedly.
Mary giggled at this, she loved seeing her daughter smile like that, same with Little Flippy as well. All three of the animals unbuckled their seatbelts and hopped out of the car. Once all the car doors are closed, Mary pushes the lock button on one of her keys to lock all the doors for the car. As soon as they enter the park, Little Angel went to go talk with a group of her friends, Mary went to sit on the park bench, and Little Flippy went to sit against the tree all by himself. He watched as some of the other kids play in the park, they were playing games like basketball, tag, hide and seek, soccer, baseball, etc. But Little Flippy, however, doesn't feel like playing, as he looks at his dog tag once more, he was thinking about Zippy, and starts to tear up himself, thinking that he was all alone without his father being with him.
