Are You Afraid Of Love?!

It was late at night, and everyone was around the campfire.
"So tell us about yourselves, what do you guys do."
Sasuka asked in suspicion.
"We're assassins, so I guess we assassinate" Denahi answered in a laughing tone.
"Wow that's cool, but your on the good side right?!" Naruto asked
"Umm most of the work is good, I think, minus our past" Kenai said unsure of any and everything.
"If you don't mind me asking and you answering, what was your past like" Sakura asked in sweet but annoying to me voice.
"We'll tell you our teenage years but nothing under that, got it?!" I said sternly.
They all nodded even the freedom fighters were interested.
"We were called the Four Spirts when we gained recognition of assassinating evil people together.
Before we were called the General Eight, but that's a different story. Anyway we were all ways receiving missions to kill.." Denahi was cut off by Naruto.
"Wait! There's only three of you, whose the fourth"
My brothers looked at me for an approval and I nodded my head in the ok.
"It was our oldest brother Sitka" Kenai said in a sad tone.
"What happen to him" Sakura asked.
"He got killed" I said with no emotion, a serious face and anger in my eyes.
"How does he get killed?!" Naruto asked "aren't you all assassins."

It was quiet.

Then I got up and said "He became foolish and fell in love, THE END" then I ran to my room on the top deck. Slammed the door and cried myself to sleep.

_________Kakashi POV

After she left, I thought about why she had such terrible nightmares about this Sitka guy and now I know it was her brother all a long!.
Then Kenai spoke
"Her and Sitka had a very strong relationship, does she still have those nightmares at night?"

"No they've gotten worse. Now it's every time she closes her eyes and day dreaming too. Just recently she had one and Kakashi found her and brought her back. He never left her side." Smellerbee said and turned to me.
Then Kenai and Denahi look dead at me with a evil eyes, but Denahi looked soft and not really meaning his evil look. Kenai was ready to attack, but was waiting patiently.

"I think that's enough stories for tonight" Denahi said calmly

Everyone went below deck except me, I went to the rail and stared at the black ocean thinking.
I know what it's like to lose the once you love and closest to you.
Is she afraid to fall in love because of her brothers death?! Does she think his actions were a mistake?! Is that why she pushes away every time I pull her in?!

Then it started to rain

All these thoughts scattered my mind. Then I heard foot steps, I thought it was her brothers, but I heard a femine voice say "Why are you still up?!"

"Kyte can I ask you something?!" I said softly

"What is it?! She said in a unsure if she wants to answer me tone.

I turned around to face her

"Are you afraid to fall in love?!"

"No I'm afraid of dying , that's what love is , death." She spatted and turned to walk away

I grabbed her wrist and pulled her in my chest.
"What if I can change that?,
I know your first experience of love was bad based on your brother's death but I can show..."
She pushed away from me and cut me off

"Why do you care?! What's in it for you? Did my brothers put you up to this?!" She yelled

"No" I said sternly "Your brothers don't even like me and you know it"

"Then why do you care?, why are you so in my life?, Why do you want to teach me about love?! She started sobbing.

It was silent

"WHY?!"

I still didn't answer

"WHY?!" She yelled again

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU" I blurted out.

she looked at me in shock

Then out of no where the boat was hit by a rock and Kyte fell off

"KYTE!" I yelled

I jumped in after her and brought her to into my arms. Since no one was up, the anchor wasn't down to stop the boat from moving. So I swam as good as I could to an near by island. When we reached shore, I put unconscious Kyte on my shoulder and found a tree to sit under. Then put her in my chest and let sleep take over.
